dear chaser,
you had only one goal and yet you failed,
after all the chasing, how could you
leave so easily?

in the bottom of her heart
She knew she would always be in love with him.
their memories will always haunt her
despite how much she tries to erase his memory.
He was her one true love.

"Don't worry, she's just a colleague and she has a husband"

Here I am
drowning in a
pool full of my
own tears,
witnessing you
in your birthday suit
next to a woman

the same woman
you told me
not to worry
about,in
your office

the same office
you work extra
hours in everyday

Here you are,
comforting another
man's wife,
looking at the
invisible clouds on
the roof,
laughing your
lungs out,
promising her the
world that you
still owe me

forgetting my existence,
feeding her ears
the words my
ears have been
starving to hear

sharing your soul
with her,the soul
you've always said
belongs to me

you're now sharing
it with someone else
while mine is still
waiting to be fed
by yours,

I guess it will wait forever
I've heard those steps,
On the floor before,
Time for an exit,
Through the outside door,
Feelings, Pain & happiness,
Circulating, inside,
Trying to decide, if those tears,
Are from happiness, or joy,
As they fall from the eyes,
In the future, you may return,
Realizing, what we missed,
Another lesson learned.

and alone, i rediscover my old habit of making out stars from the trenches
and finding the road of your childhood home changed
sky to sky
and you are not    the first snow
but you will witness the snow fight
the boys spoke no other language than their own
they threw, and fell, and built larger shadows of three
inseparable ever since
laughter disappearing into walls
i rediscover city lights flickering off
closing shop, on the bed singing into a screen
‘goodbye’
‘you will see me later’

I know the wind
cries for me.
The birds sing of
my loneliness from
the sky.
I don't even see
you in my dreams
anymore.
Your red dress
hangs from the mahogany
coat rack, and the
storm clouds in my mind
never go away.
Baby, these miles
and miles are making
me soul sick, and this
trumpet will be the
death of me yet.
The inspiration for this one came from Miles Davis, his Trumpet playing on this French film I was watching was amazing.

i wonder
how we managed
to convince our hands
not to hold onto each other
when we said goodbye.

now, i'm writing
inside this flying can;
thinking this might be the closest
to a home.

these small seats,
with even smaller legs space.
these funny-shaped windows,
where all you can see are
white clouds,
and sporadically
some lights.
tiny houses,
with even tinier people.

and us,
tiny giants,
reading overpriced perfume catalogs,
listening to mispronounced english,
using disposable low-fidelity headphones,
inside low-light low-love low-cost
low-everything
airplanes.
