I bought a brand new notebook.
With floral print and purple lines,
For the brand new school year,
To show them how I shine

But now it’s half way through the school year,
And my notebook has lost its glow,
It’s like as if my floral notebook,
Somehow really knows,

My mood and all my feelings,
And as I begin to age,
Like my floral notebook,
I seem tattered at every page.

When I reach the end of my notebook,
I fear what the story will hold,
Stripped of the words on the pages,
My heart soon growing cold.

I remember all the lessons,
And hope one day I understand,
That the stories in this notebook,
Are worth all the ink marks on my hand.

one step ahead and they're finally done
one step ahead and they're finally gone
one step ahead and she is finally proud
one step ahead, one step ahead, one step ahead

one step ahead and the glass finally falls
one step ahead and the tears finally drop
one step ahead and the fingers finally touch
one step ahead and the shirt is finally black
one step ahead, one step ahead, one step ahead

with or without, skies or the clouds,
love or a fling,food or a drink;
they finally said and they finally did
they finally free in a count of three
they finally gone and this time it's gonna be so long
they finally clap and it feels like it's only one step
they finally grow as the wind blows
and they finally smile but they're gonna cry

one step ahead before the journey ends
one step ahead before the airplane lands
and one step ahead before the new level
and one step ahead before a boy turns into a man
and one step ahead before a girl turns into a woman
and one step ahead and they finally fly to the higher level of the sky.
goodbye seniors, even tho some of us may not miss y'all, there will be some that's gonna cry,and there will be some of us that's gonna miss your smiles.
thank you,for everything. May God will always bless u.

High School.

Where everyone believes getting drunk and high's cool.
Sleep the least and work the most.
Hide their beast, only talk to boast.
Laugh but conceal, smile but never feel.
Take what's painless over what's real.
Don't open up because they don't understand.
Grown ups only give you expectations and demands.
Ask for help on something else and its out of their hands.
And they wonder why student interest is reduced to strands.

Expect them to figure out the rest of their life.
If they don't, let their failure cut them like a knife.
Overloading with choices drowns out their voices.
The next generation is drained and in pain.
Education's so clerical its a miracle they're sane.
They assume with current events that kids won't be affected.
When really all the hate and pain and hurt just gets projected
On a fragile state of mind still finding their identity.
They see kids who are unique and think punishment's the remedy.

How do kids respond when we stomp on their soul?
Searching for an out when we bury hope in a hole?
Now they can't see, because they don't have their own place
To discover who they are, they can't feel their own face.
I can't embrace a place where kids can't be who they are.
A light that can't shine, a night with no stars.

I am attracted to your body
the way you dress
the way you move
the way you smile
its simply perfect,
to me at least

the way you walk
the way you talk
the way you look at me
the way you just touched me with a hug
it makes me love you even more

and i cant stop looking at you
watching you talking to others
or even when you're just sitting
and do nothing except breathing

i cant stop looking at your beuty,
your hair
your eyes
your lips
your skin

and when you comme and talk to me
i look at your eyes and cant stop it
you smile brightly
i love that smile

i am in love with you
please never stop smiling at me

That’s my old chair
The one I used to doze in
While Mr Parker droned on ‘bout maths & that
I was gonna sit down front near Kerry Keener
But in the end I thought, nah, better not, so here I sat

You see, just here, my keychain scraped the plastic
As I ragged around to try & find a comfy spot
& that bit there got scuffed
The more my trainers rubbed it
I never could sit sensible
So they said

That armrest there snapped clean off when Matty Parker
Went arsefirst backward over it, farting on,
We laughed our backs off that time, Matty too like
It’s a few years now that Matt’s been dead & gone

& round the back there
Do you clock the “I heart Lisa”
Jason compass-scrawled once before class, the cheeky ****
He knew I had a soft spot for that Lisa
I made ******’ sure that Jase was out of luck

I haven’t seen that Lisa in a fair while
Jason neither like, funny how life goes
Still, you close one door, another waits ajar like
Sit still too long you won’t go far like, I suppose

When I was Born
I had Knowledge
I had Talent
I had wisdom

Then I was sent to School
They taught something new
I gained some more knowledge

Then they asked me to wrote Exam
Then exams became a routine
Weekly, Monthly, Six Monthly and Annual

School became a transformer
It transformed itself from a School to
An Examination Conducting Machine

And then I became an Idiot
I also became a Duffer
Question is – "Who ruined Me?"
An Important Question. What is the purpose of education
