I'm losing grasp
I'm losing sleep
Make promises
I cannot keep
         Reality
         is setting in
         I should not fight
         I cannot win
Reminders of
Your simple ways
Make me lose track
Of all the days
         But glancing up
         Can't help but hope
         For better times
         It's hard to cope
Maybe I'll stop
Trying to feel
Reality
I'm standing still
         Fate transpires
         Illusions show
         Taking long walks
         Out in the snow
It's this utter
Inability
To convince myself
How I should be
         Pushing further
         Into the void
         This whole world
         It's paranoid
Not losing grasp
Not losing sleep
We're all mad here
At least I think
Stuck in my head for some reason. This flow of words. Not sure why. I think I'm insane sometimes. Little neurons in my brain were going crazy at least.

He discovered her in a world of grays and blacks.
She put forth the image of smiles and pinks, but held back
secrets, kept in the shadows,
which revealed an artist
trained in writing with silver.
And though she tried her hardest to create purples or the yellows of happiness
red was her medium
until he discovered her,
and ripped her tedium apart
with his sea of green.
He peeled back her layers:
The false pinks used to fool the world
Bright oranges, tools for when the pinks began to crack
The black, forming an endless pool she was slowly drowning in
Until he found the blue
Blue as the sky in which he made her feel like she was flying
Blue from the effort of actually trying for once
Blue as the sea where her soul now seemed to float
He peeled back her layers and showed her just how colorful
the world could be.

Down to the deep south
I trudge
down through the snow
with the pink,
pink clouds
scattering their
effervescence
over spangled, darkened
farms and hay bales.
Across early orange
styles and frosted
footprints, into
fielded horizons.
Black is Beautiful,
White is bright;
Asian is a **** persuasion.
But being Albino is special
No matter what colour you are,
You may be Asian, Black, and White, Mix race or Albino
Beneath you are Beautiful.
There's no need to hate your colour
For that's who you are.
Embrace yourself.
For there's nothing you can do about it.
Even if you bleach so hard, to change your colour;
Beneath you are still the way you are.
Embrace yourself, love your colour.

Some associate a tickled pink
with either her favorite
ink-stained pencil case
that is torn at the edges
from overuse
or her favorite undergarments
adorned with lace,
but not enough fabric
that perfectly accentuates her curves
and casts out any thoughts
of innocence.
Personally, I recall my flushed face
that holds a shy smile
that just barely escapes
when he compliments the equally shaded
but excessively swollen lips
and the way that they travel his skin,
as if begging for more.
We shared a moment on those
fluorescent white sheets
on our wild spring break getaway,
wishing that certain forces
of nature had not come early
and we could be doing more
than taking trips exploring
the contours of each other’s
collarbones with our tongues.

So what** do you mean, you can’t take me home? Baby please don’t leave me alone (I’m lonely) and I don’t want to take the walk of shame home sober Well that’s ******’ perfect, love is such a crazy thing until you realize that it’s over. So let me let you know, that you make me sick, it’s sickening, that most girls will fall for your private show.

This is my second poem created by combining song titles from the artist. I believe that each title contains a certain story within itself. Therefore, I took certain titles and created a story out of it.

The winds softly whisper,
Singing a gentle romantic tune,
As dusty pink roses ... bathed in dewdrops,
Leaving a pleasant fragrance,
In attune.

When the petals sway and unfold,
Into the tender breeze,
'Neath the lucent moon,
And the sky sparkle like diamonds,
Twinkling from above ... with ease.

Overlooking a refine emerald blanket,
Surrounded by sprinkles of white smooth pebbles,
Beside a lovely exotic tree,
On this playful summers night,
And it seems quite special.
