I shall do you an injustice
If I steal you out from paradise
I shall do Gods an injustice
If I kidnapped you from heaven
But...
I shall bless my people
When I bring your divinity to my land

Roses may be red,
But I'm always blue.
Someone could show me paradise,
And I'll see a grotesque view.

Roses may be red,
But sometimes I'm blue.
I'm aware of the sunlight,
And I'm slightly warmer too.

Roses may be red,
But I'm feeling less blue.
I've met you, extraordinaire,
A palette of colors, anew.

Roses may be red,
But I'm no longer blue.
You brought paradise to me,
Because paradise is you.

Everyday I find myself lost in my own mind full of pink clouds, tangerine birds, and a light blue  sky where everything is so perfect... expect for one missing piece... my wings.

quiero traerte a mi país,
y enseñarte lo que me hace feliz.
quiero llevarte a los bares bonitos
donde cantan y arman jaleo.
quiero pasar por debajo
de las pérgolas preciosas del parque
con mis manos colgando
de donde dobla tu brazo.
quiero llevarte a la iglesia
y bailar y alabar contigo.

pero lamento
que no será posible.
es solamente un sueño
que veo yo solita.
porque tú estás pensando
en tu propio paraíso
y no creo que me incluya.
si no, me lo dirías.
duele querer algo con
alguien que no desea lo mismo.

duele
ver alguien tan cerca de ti
que piensa que estás
demasiado lejos de él.
no sé cómo la gente lo hacen
cuando se enamoran
en otro país.
la mente se queja,
el corazón lamenta,
y el alma llora del dolor.
the ache that longing brings lingers close around you.

cut from topaz and quartz
dipped in milk and honey
empowered by the moon
created a perfect paradise
and it was you.

Take me away to paradise
A place filled with colors like yours
Help me forget the pain in my chest
Take me to where I can finally rest
And stay with me
So that I can find the paradise within your eyes
And finally be whole
eye roll pita-patter
that went to flatter
the doily with a queen in absentia
but her placenta wear halter in zebra
to fabricate ***** but a summer thrill up yonder
in a bat cave wonder
with blond tenderness so blind
yet her sunken ***** there
her patriarch kind butter
this ice grab yellow

Golden sunlight kissing my skin
Gentle breeze whispering in my ears
The sunset covered by a crown of clouds
The skies slowly dimming towards twilight

The fine sand on my toes feels warm
Getting cozier as each minute passes by
The waves come and go in a gentle rush
The salty mist refreshing to the withered soul

Coconut trees sway back and forth
Slow-dancing with the gentle breeze
Lying alone in this small and cozy tent
Waiting for the stars to sparkle bright

As the night approaches bonfires littered the beach
Like small tongues of light in a dark, serene canvass
People singing songs not very far away
Blending smoothly with the strumming of guitars

I guess this is what people call paradise
Yet why does it feel so incomplete?
The gaping hole in my heart feels empty
My arms feel like they're missing a big piece

If this is paradise, then what is it missing?
Why does everything look so perfect, yet feel so empty?
And then the memories left to wither
Came like a tsunami on the horizon

It was your warmth that it lacked
Your presence it was missing
Your scent blending with the salty air
Your eyes glowing with the moonlight

It was your love that was my paradise
The love that you took with you
When you left me stranded and struggling
In an island of my sadness and misery

But for tonight, and all the coming nights
I choose to bury the past in these sands
To break the chains that still cling to me
Along with the painful memories that haunt me

So as I sleep under the blanket of starlight
I remain hopeful of the breaking dawn
As I forget you like the passing waves of the seas
And the winds bring me to the arms of a paradise just for me
Trying to get some sleep.
Dumping my thoughts
Goodnight!
