Roses are red.

Violets are blue.

Both are now withered black, and dead.

Much like my love for you.

You appear so frail and delicate,
but beneath your pretty petals are your thorns.
For my sis; she is a delicate flower who forgets that she has thorns too. Sometimes it's better not to give yourself away just to make others bleed though, and I forget that sometimes.

Roses are red,
thinking gets dicey.
Speak to a doctor,
before things get too spicy.

Roses are red,
violets are blue,
you found someone special,
who's perfect for you.
Now she's number one,
and I'm down to two,
I'm glad that you're happy
there's not much I can do.
You do things without me,
don't think to ask,
If I'm feeling lonely
is it that hard a task?
I just need a friend
I don't need any more
So please don't ignore me
I feel uncared for.
Written by a friend.

Roses may be red,
But I'm always blue.
Someone could show me paradise,
And I'll see a grotesque view.

Roses may be red,
But sometimes I'm blue.
I'm aware of the sunlight,
And I'm slightly warmer too.

Roses may be red,
But I'm feeling less blue.
I've met you, extraordinaire,
A palette of colors, anew.

Roses may be red,
But I'm no longer blue.
You brought paradise to me,
Because paradise is you.

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
My heart is full
Of love for you.

Roses are red
Dripping salt and slate
Brimming with anger and jealousy
Crying out tears of dead fate

Violets are blue
Only fear is grated on the board
Highlighting the stale
Mate, leave at your own accord

Sugar is sweet
A devil’s temptation they say
They pour the bitter water
Washing mind’s hallucinations away

And so are you
Willing to *******
Inside the walls of envy
Shaking your burnt-bulb rattle

Red like the dress you wore when I first met you.
You were beautiful.
And you still are.

Roses are red.
Red like the lipstick which stained my cheek the first time you kissed me.
And all other times you did.

Roses are red.
Red like the sky
when you said goodbye.
Or like the dry eyes
I had every time I cried.

Roses are red.
Red as the blood that stained the silver bullet which pierced through your skin.
Roses are red.
Red like the heart that shattered into a million, countless fractals for you.

Roses are red.

As you lie in your hospital bed, dead, never coming back.
You won't come back.
You can't come back.

Roses are red like the one I'm holding, tightly
I don't care if I get hurt.
I don't care if the sharp thorns pierce through my fragile skin the way the bullet shattered all what could've and what would've been's.
All I want is for you to come back.
I want you to come back.
I need you to come back.
Please come back.
Please.

Roses are red.
And will always be red.
Always for you.
