I would scream and I would shout, if I could.
My lungs would break my throat would burn out.
The mirror on the dazzling night sky is silent this time.
It vowed it would be, the day I said I would not.

However I am silent all the same, and I've no more to give.
My soul is spent, the childlike wonder, the reason to laugh.
As I lay on the wet grass in the upside down forest,
I fall through the trees and I merge with the rest.

I stand up tall as I float in the air, just like it was meant to be.
And when I look to the sky for the last time, with weary eyes
I remember all the wonders its canvas held in another era of our kind.
Its paint is now dry and old, but you can still see how those tales were told.

With gorgeous colors applied through graceful lines, vivid movements in your mind.
You need not look to the sky, just hold this canvas close to your heart.
See that shading and that carefully painted figure with the luminescent eyes?
Look to the details that you really do hold close to your life.

As the darkness spreads
like a dark silk blanket,
I feel her sleeping
like a baby all scarlet

In me burns a flame
when i find her so close,
Then a quiver on her lips
like the winds on a rose..

A smile so sweet spreads
across her face,
My heart skips a beat and
awes in amaze.

A gaze upon me,
with a twinkle in her eye,
There's so much to say
but all i do is sigh

An innocent playful strand
runs loose astray,
jealous as i am from
where restless i lay.

Touch her, i could,
coz she sleeps on my arm
wake her up, i might
with the touch of my palm.

The moonlight shining
on her smooth soft skin,
I slowly pull out the knot
held up by the pin

The feel of her slipping hair
so soft against my cheek,
The sweet scent of jasmine
makes me so meek.

Like a floating boat i feel
in the dark sweet scent
I drown into my sleep
with a feeling all spent !

Stress is such a strong thing,
Controlling those.
Bringing them forth into darkness.

So many things can see,
The happiness can be brought forth.
Just learn to reveal.
The small things.
The mirth.

Stress is destruction,
slowly eating away at your insides.
Making you dark, corrupted.
Lost in the night sky.

Do not let the darkness in,
Bring forth the light.
Stress is such a strong thing,
But it will make you do whats right.

Bring forth the light!

Breathtaking beauty settles before my eye’s
Palpable is this peace in a land where air is thin
While beaming brilliance, lights the skies

Rage is visible in the irate tides
Of the Rocky Mountain rapids crashing by
Breathtaking beauty settles, before my eyes

With a scent of bristlecone pines
Drifting on wistful winds
While beaming brilliance, lights the skies

Over the ridge valleys rest in dark disguise
As shade is thrown down from heavens above
Breathtaking beauty settles, before my eyes

Eager for this moment to last, time I do despise
As stars align in a language read by gods
While beaming brilliance, lights the skies

Omnipotent powers string these patterns
That rest above great valleys in masterpiece
Breathtaking beauty settles, before my eyes
While beaming brilliance, lights the skies
I was inspired to write this poem after stargazing in Buena Vista, Colorado.

From my perch,spanning the vast,
fathomless sky at night,
where 100 billion galaxies
vie with one another, for foothold,
shoals of fish on the swim
in diverse forms of being
( or nothingness of various kind)
in cycles  of birth from dust,
growth, death in dark holes and rebirth.

I now see only  a lone star above,
cowering at a far corner, in silence
anxiety ridden  as she's alone
in this celestial grand opera house.

Wonder, where had gone all,
the spectacular display of star power,
profligacy of fish of  ocean above
proudly displaying just yesterday.

Lessons, on equanimity perhaps,
nature teaches, writing on the night sky.

I could stare away
Into the night sky
And find kazillions of dreamers
Like me
My heart says
No need for goodbyes
For dreamers are born
To be free
If I could dream of anything...
...Anything
I would dream it over and over again
I would dream of my someone special
My fellow dreamer and my best friend

I know there’s a different world.
I am on the counter-realm.
I am not meant to be here –
– I belong in the other realm.

My realm, my light,
My colours, my night..
My moon, my tide,
My heart, my mind…

I would unfold my arms
I would reach out to the sky
I could touch the pink clouds,
And the blue, purple, even the shimmering white

The stars quadrupled just for my eyes
The night sky holding no darkness
A dream on its own, above me
The moon so close, igniting my senses

The water never too deep,
Never lacking this fantasy shade;
While I think the dream is up above,
I look at the water – perfection of balance God made

This fantasy one man created
Turned into my much longed-for reality
In search I journeyed for eleven years
Today, realizing – Freedom to dream is my destiny.

oh how you remind me of storms...
   like lightning you *shine

       like thunder you cry
and your soul, oh your sweet soul,
like darkness engulfing the night sky...
as I whisper...  *engulf me in your darkness too
I hate storms...but oh do I love you...

"And why is that,
we notice the  stars... glittering,
in the night sky...
and try to join the dots...
but why is it...
we never notice
that... Without the Dark...
We did never see the stars??"
Amitav Radiance Jul 2015
The night sky is so alluring
There is a subtle attraction
Stars hold our gaze tonight
As lovers hearts come closer
Fine strings from the moon
And the shimmering veil
Decorate the landscape
Waves of silver light
Resonates with hearts upheaval
Night’s bring out the beauty
With closed eyes, we see the universe
Love stops at this confluence
Hearts slowly drowning in love
