Me with Mr. Moon
Time's fleeting so soon
Trap in this starstruck view
Till come the morning hue

Me with Mrs. Sun
Waiting till she's done
Her fiery flames so bleak
She shines at her peak

Me with my dearest Star
Dancing from afar
It feels like an endless dream
Right for my heart to keen
My first poem
I am like darkness seeing the sun shine,
Eluding jealousy a tale so refined,
They have worshiped the sun the stars,
Alas,I am like the moon the reason of whose praise is yet to define,
Forged with sorrows I steal the light,
Always wishing of the sun to set so I can have my rise,
Am I just am alternative I ask getting a sigh in response,
Maybe you will know your worth one day till then be warned not to go astray,
The intangible replies on whose hands the whole world lies.
Not a part of your church
In the dark I built myself
A torch;

And the moon whispers to me
In the night she sits
By me.
The Moon was a milky white
So round and so bright.
The Sea was serene tonight,
calmly glimmering in the moonlight.
Higher became the tide
as she found her feelings hard to fight.
The Moon only smiled
a warm, comforted smile.

"My dear," said The Sea,
"How thou gloweth so bright!
Thou art even brighter
than the stars in the sky!
O, what a beautiful sight..."
"Thou sayeth that every night"
The Moon replied
with a delighted sigh.

"But o, how I love
whenever we reunite!
Every word we exchange
is full of delight..."
The Moon remarked
As The Sea replied:
"And 'tis for those things
that makes me come here every night."

The Sun will soon rise,
Ere the tide will be too high;
"I must go," said The Moon.
"My sister shall take o'er the sky."
The Sea almost wept
but she gave her a sigh.
"All right then, my Moon,
I shall see thee next night."
This is for a project in my English class, and I decided to savor it here. Don't mind the Elizabethan English, I just... like it, okay?
Up so high,
with a
BEAUTIFUL GLOW,
Casting down your
MOONBEAMS
right down below.
I stare into the MOON 🌕,
as I am TRANSFIXED,
It SHINES DOWN LOW,
the MOONLIGHTS RAVISHING
GLOW,
It FEELS so MAGICAL,
I cannot help but to GLANCE,
at the MOON 🌕, over the LAGOON,
while I am in a DEEP TRANCE.
It is such a COOL, CRISP, and
MAGNIFICENT NIGHT,
as I VIEW, and ADMIRE,
THE CAPTIVATING
MOONLIGHT!!!

These white lights shine too bright for my

poor dead eyes, and the man’s ramblings, he

held my eardrums hostage. Then came a sudden squall, she

engulfed me in one heck of a waterfall.

Faint moonlight peeked at the end of a musty, darkly lit stairwell we

saw each other and laughed at our equally drenched clothes, our

wet hair. As sewer rats, we scurried to rescue potted plants, we

whipped *****, thuds on white walls, with sticks and knives and all. We

rolled on the floor and nearly got concussions, sprained ankles. I

remembered how to fall again, to do it all in one fell swoop.

I know my body was mine, but now it is also yours, so we

danced, barefoot, twirled in our arms, caught each other, ate our

mother’s mooncakes while the storm rages on somewhere, outside. We

smiled, mouths full with black sesame, white lotus, egg yolks, our

laughter echoing under this gentle white light, upon this warm wood.

This conversation spins nothing, but this means everything to me.

We walk under the damp, stale, starless sky, remnants of the squall. You

suddenly proclaimed that all stars have gathered for me,

and it is my stage, my game now, so I

went home smiling despite it all. You

don’t know that this mid-autumn night was all I ever dreamed of.
Happy mooncake day :D

summer's last full moon:
     silent trees, a grassy hill,
          crickets, black & white

Muskan Parvin Sep 16
In the night's dark , starry sea
I find my worries, drifting free
In this stillness,i found my nest
A place to rest, and be my best

That starts up high, with a twinkling show
Reflect the beauty, that life can grow
The moon's pale glow, a guiding light
Leads me through, life's darkest night

Like a leaf in a cosmic sea
I drift on winds, wild and free
In this celestial loving grasp
I found my soul,in a peaceful clasp.
In the celestial ballet of night, I find solace. This poem weaves together the gentle beauty of stars, the guiding light of the moon, and the freedom of the cosmic winds to create a sanctuary for the soul.

look at the night sky.
see how the stars move,
and the moon changes.

growing and shedding.
cyclical
and never stagnant.

i want to be the same.
moving
and growing.

i am trying to mimic the moon.
but how can someone so limited,
achieve such growth?

how can i endure the loss
and still wait for the bloom?
