A dreary gray fills the sky with a sombre mood
Like ash sprawling in the air in a manner of crude
A coronation begins, for the foul, not good
Mockery fills the room as a man sits in ****

His skin filled with fresh bruises and blisters alike;
His eyes painted with tremor, etched within his psyche
Upon his head sat, a diadem of sharp pike
Its needles slithering through his forehead in hike,

Puncturing his once soft skin; warm blood trickles down
Escorting his pains were the digging of the crown
It continues, wrapping his head like a long gown
For a king, adorned with a frown: a thorny crown.

Among the men, they bring out a coat of blood anew
Draped on shoulders, blood meets blood; the searing pain grew
A contempt shroud lingers, a call begins to brew
"Hail the King!" they chant, "Hail Jesus, the King of all  Jew!"
This is a poem written to depict what happened before The Crucifixion of Jesus Christ, meaning it describes one of the unauthorized torturing towards him and how sorrowful it is.

(I am not a religious person, I merely wrote something that is associated with Christ and his history.)

you see?

It wasn’t my pathetic unrequited love.
Nor was it the vanishing of you.
It wasn’t the sorrow I felt while you faded.
Nor was it the recognition of our expiry date.

O  P  E  N
Your eyes.

It was your kindness
It was them sweet white lies you whispered to comfort me.
To protect my feelings.

you
see?

You wasn’t letting me down gently.
You wasn’t being noble.
You just prolonged my inevitable misery.
You let the emotion of belonging cement to then just carelessly erase it.

Please

That mutilated me.
That broke and wrecked me.
That made me contemplate everything.

And yes my own love was the executioner
But you tossed me away
Trafficked me to the devil.

You were just his little minion.

wilting bouquets
                               at a gravestone

we are keen to point out the
spinach
               in your teeth
flashing our own in mockey

there are graveyards in our closets
unmarked tombstones rattling
under each breath

& still we find humor in
your lack
grow vines of resentment at
your affluence

we were once all planted
in the same soil

not our fault yours
                                  had shade
not our fault yours
                                  wasn't watered
we shout as we

                                   s     t    o    m    p

on your leaves and pluck petals
                                  off your stems

and yet you
bloom
through the cracks of pavement
your florets blossom
amidst sand

not our problem
we whimper from our manicured lawns

a dog ****** on me today.

I will awash myself in sorrow
and seek to cry the saltiest tears.
If for that reason only you will chose me
above all others despite circumstance.
I shall be no more than Misery
Simply to state my need for Company.

Oh, what misery I shall joyfully bring
for games are not just for fools
I shall throw myself upon wretchedness,
unscrupulous morals
and dastardly deeds.
the best of Misery I endeavour to be
For the love of Company

And Company you shall be to my Misery
Endlessly, Completely, Eternally.

Life has a way of making fools of even the smartest mind and love is its greatest weapon.
life has a way of teaching us  the lessons we try hardest not to learn and even when we see the hit coming from a mile away, it still hurts like a motherfkr on impact.
hit one: being in love with someone you know sooner or later will replace you.
hit two: praying for that one in a million chance to move up from side chick to main *****.
hit three: knowing this side chick **** is hard while being the **** of  life's biggest joke, thinking I'm in love.

Once I was in a place to shed a tears
of the silent scream I don't let anybody know
to watch them all laughing,
as the agony I feel
for the invisible tears
rolled down my cheek

they laughed at me,
for always
at the sight of myself
and that's the truth
for what the lie is
I smiled at them in return
