"Why do you laugh?
Do you not see
How useless is it?
Are you delusional?
Or have you gone mad?"
You questioned me.
I stared, and laughed.
I am not blind, and
I certainly feel helpless.
But, still I laugh,
For I have already cried.

In laughter, I find unity
With others who laugh too
In laughter, there is power
Against clowns and idiots
With delusions of grandeur
As I laugh, I show sanity
While exposing stupidity

To laugh is to cope
A means of catharsis
It is as valid as crying
And often, I do both
I laugh, because I am unfortunately still human
Based on a prompt - LAUGH
Where every touch carries love
Every hand carries help
And a tiny crumb satisfy all
That is home

Where every tear is shared
Every hug carries a warmth
And every word carries laughter
That is home

Where I find strength to fight my wars
And courage to face my fears
Not because I am strong
But because I have helping hands
That is home

Where despite my faults
I still find comfort
And the cold hands of failure
Does not win it all
That is home

Where hands are joined together
To help each other get the victory
And they never stop trying
Until everyone is smiling
That is home

Where you run to
When all the world reject you
Like ***** rags with no more use
And you find a hug, a warmth and a word
That is home

My home
A place I always want to be
My home
There is none other like you
When every wall carries freedom
That is home

Home
Every step away from you carries fear
Everyday away from you seems so lost
I miss all the love all the warmth
The smiles and the laughter in my home

Underneath my bed, you''ll find a box that
holds everything that I've forgotten.

You'll say it was never mine,
and I filled it with passing time.

And there's nothing I can do to change it's rapid course,
"it'll only fill you with drowning remorse."

They'll say.

But I pick and I pry, wondering
what could be inside.

Rolling in my bed, watching
life pass instead.

With eyes wide open, worried
it will always remain

Shut.

So I ask a few friends, a stranger, and you:

Do you have a box, kept hidden, but near?
Of moments long gone, but fill you with fear?

Do you stay awake, all through the night
debating whether or not you should fight?

Do you dream of broken pieces from a different time & place?
Smeared and burned with a ghost of a face?

This box, this box
in which I've forgotten
But cannot seem to forget,
will not leave
my head.

So I smash it on the ground, until I make
sure all the hinges are
completely
unbound.

It opens, quickly and quietly,
so silently
I hear it all at once:

Do you remember the day,
when someone had all the right words to say?
When you were picked up with warmth & laughter,
so you forgot what you were after?

Do you remember your very own touch,
honest, genuine, and never too much?
The slide of a hand within your own,
so tender and kind it becomes a home?

Do you remember the days you let yourself grow,
through cracks and stains painted long ago?

Underneath my bed, you'll find
a box, filled with all that
I'm
becoming.

I watched you breathing,
your chest rise and fall.
These moments I'll cherish,
but I can't live them all.

We made a life of
both laughter and tears.
But the sun's finally shining,
the rain's starting to clear.

I'll tell you a secret
that nobody knows
no king nor queen
or wayward vagabond suppose
ever see tears from a clown
purposefully stain his clothes

King unto himself
the jester like the rooster
only beckons when he crows
inviting the day to come
before he quietly goes.

there was this boy who
got ****** at my friend
because she rejected him.

he called her ugly,
and we burst out laughing

because two minutes ago,
when he was flirting with her,
he didn’t think she was ugly.
two minutes ago, he called her hot.

he didn’t call her ugly until
she used the word “no.”

he stormed off after a few
more ignorant words,

but I wanted to ask him
what he meant.

was she suddenly ugly
because of her appearance,

or was she suddenly ugly
because he realized that she
had a voice, and she certainly
wasn’t afraid to use it?

was she suddenly ugly
because of her appearance,

or was she suddenly ugly
because he realized that she
was more than just a pretty face?

Rose petals on the floor
Rose petals on the bed
Your piercing eye and skintight dress
Music playing
Mind racing as you pull me in
Falling deeper into lustful thoughts

Push me off
Turn the music up
Play it slow

Your hips bent and your *** shook
Your body twists and turns to the rhythm of this ******* song
Got me sweating at this privet show

Witness to your beauty
Victim to my lust
Feel no pity in our hearts
Reality is morphing into fruition of our thoughts...

Bite your lip and lick your neck....

Take our time and do it right...

Want us laughing through the night

Cause we both know that in the end we gonna break each other’s hearts.
Sharing moments,
Sharing sweets,
Sharing laughter,
Sharing tears.

Share your light
And share your Shadows,

Give some resting time to hollows
That are sleepy right away
Giving you recourse to clay,
New illusion for your beliefs
In some cool, pathetic breeze
of the ocean that you freeze
In your mind to rest remarks
Made on peaks, high, of a rock.

Give some sleepy clay remark
On a cliff's recourse to rock
New illusions cool and hollow
Resting times on breeze to follow

Ocean's cool esthetic sleeps,
Frozen image of a breeze.

Share your shadows and your lights,
Share some moments, sweet and fun,
Share those tears in forms of life
On these moons,
Too clear, make shine!
