Close your eyes and open the eyes of your heart.
They will show you the way, enlighten your life, and fill it with purpose, joy, and hope.

The path ahead is unknown,
but when the path is dark
may a light shine in you.
And when the path diverges
may love be your guide.
And whatever path you choose
may joy follow you!

each morning bird watching
is a silent meditation
I have pigeons sparrows seagulls
megpies in my gaze
their delight of falling
makes me smile
I watch them teaching their wings
for each day
picking up the debris of sleep
spinning around each other
they start cheerful conversations
about the taste of the air
steal crumbs of wonder
from each other
a woodpacker comes
from time to time
its red stain is fun
none of them travel to you
they get round and round
wayching out
their own flight

At the cry of a new born
You will only learn later—life is hard
No cowards are amongst humans
Still brave enough to walk this earth

I lament on my time,
A passive youth and often pointless dreams
As we all live as shadows;
Our temporary bodies tenting our souls
The sun will always set,
Life will end in that body's inevitable descent
And our beautiful awakening will be our souls
To rise again in the end

At the cry of one's death,
I shall only cry tears of joy

Sorry! Pocket dial!
It's been a crazy Christmas season!
Never a dull moment
and never without a drama.
Strength doesn't come by on its own,
it requires training i suppose.

Have a beautiful day today
where you can really smell the crisp air,
look at the garden and the trees
doing their best everyday come what may,

see the wonderous sky and notice
the potential for peace and joy
the way your father appreciated
the very important things in life
that we often miss...

We can learn so much and appreciate so much
when we are given the time to reflect on the past
and dream into our future.

The answer is yes.

It will be more than okay,
It will be better and you will be stronger, wiser and more loving than you dreamed,
The answer is yes
I hear you
Yes, the answer is yes
Sing a song in your heart,
sometimes you pick,
other times life wants its soundtrack.

What ever the case,
sing your troubles away,
sing your joys out loud
A song is a prayer
And a prayer is a conscious action to begin moving to a better place
In connection with the kosmos
Everything is with us all the time,
we cannot separate ourselves from any of it;
not what we see or don't even know about,

We  just move through it in different ways together. Even when we feel alone we are still all moving in it together,

always.

sometimes its as simple as  remembering to reach out with a prayer
and breathe in the answer

Losing a parent is no small thing no matter how you feel about it. Hugs and prayers

Christmas is the great pine tree;
With red and green boxes filled with glee.
Lights light up like stars so randomly.
Kids were good and didn't lie
"Santa, please give me a gift!" says Kai

The giggle of the children fill the streets.
People waiting for midnight fill the seats;
Filipino Spaghetti with a sauce so sweet,
With different fresh pastry for kids to eat.
Christ's birthday is such a treat.
"Christmas is a yellow filled room even as green and red graced the walls and the ornaments."

My teacher told us to give atleast 3 pairs of rhyming words, 3 figures of speech, 3 sound devices and 3 sensory imagery in our poem. Where do you think I put them??

I'm in love with the idea of being in love,
Of kissing a boy, of having enough.
I trust in the process of having trust,
Of flying free like the happiest dove.
I'm in love with the idea of being in love,
But more so in love with all of the above.
This one's a little weird, but I like it.

Collecting little

bits of happiness: fresh bread --

and filling the bath.
