"It would hurt me", he whispered softly under the protective blanket of the night.

He held her closer in his arms, "You are my everything."

He paused. "It upsets me to see you unhappy. I want nothing more than your happiness..."

Another pause.

"So I understand if you left. If you left me, if you left this world."

He struggled to find the right words.

"I'd understand but it would still hurt."

A drop of you
and instantly
I am you
and you are me.
It's been a while, but I absolutely love this one. Got me excited again.

If you can't find
Yourself
In those lines
It's a lie

I shall wander with the
beauty of my souL
The gentle breeze
that bonds with breath.
The moment that echoes in heartbeat.

Fingers dance with pen.
Ink becomes a rolling wave.
And my eyes see stars
to wish upon.

I wander as footsteps
celebrate life’s song
inside fearlessness and calm.
For my soul is woven within
so I cant loose.

Love overpowers senses.
Light integrates dark.
Peace becomes reality
to savor as gratitude anchors.

And as I drift inside grace,
I shall see the butterflies beauty
and catch a miracle
that God gifts me
in this my lifetime on earth.
I put on some nice music and out this poem came.

Should one need to close the senses?
Or, let one feature the time in rhyme?

What should one do?

And if the best poems are written by squeezing the heart,
And by dipping the pen in the ink of agony,

Maybe, I've not written mine yet.
This stupid, *******
good-for-nothing pen is
always running out of --
