Welcome to the meat shop
Where arms and legs dangle from the top,
Where discarded fats ooze from the lid
Of a metal bin and a giant squid
Is sneaking out through the crack near the back door.

And the floor is ***** and slippery like butter
Oyster juice stained the buttons on the cash register.
Aunty comes with her butcher knife.
She’s about to chop the life
Out of that carp. She misses! And swears.

Her finger, clean cut, and bounces off the floor.
My lord!
Blood sputters from her knuckle.
The entire scene gives me a chuckle.
And I wake up from my dream hungry.

Quite hungry right now :)

Like a muscular drummer drumming,
    the Big wind
It gathers itself, twirls its sticks
Then swooping suddenly lambasts its
     kit
Thrashes the coast, sways the trees
    and rocks the boats
Lathers into it;
Its cymbals crashing are the smash of
    the sea against the rocks
The trees running amok over the
    rising mountains.

                                    II

With a draught of this air drawn in to
    fill my sails
To have the big windmills of my blood
    rotate
And ******* out then across the bay
Up over the headland, out over the
    wide open sea
A Colossus emerging and none to
    stand in my way.
The sea comes alive on stormy days and gets into your soul

A Gigantic Giant is mad at his wife.
He made her cry big, wet tears.
Now he's stomping around on the cloud-covered ground.
The sound is quite frightening to hear!

You can hear him shout loudest on dark, windy nights,
When a burning coal flies from the hearth.
He yells a bad word,
(One that I never learned,)
And the big coal falls down to the earth!

It fills up the sky with a blinding, white light.
Sometimes it makes little girls scream.
You can hear a loud CRACK so you know where it's at.
It can even burn down a whole tree!

A Gigantic Giant is settling down.
His wife isn't crying as much.
He sits down in his chair,
His wife brushes her hair,
They'll fight again next week with luck!
Description of a thunderstorm.  Meant to be read as though through the eyes of a child.

Below ocean waves,
Giant squid larger than ships
Enjoy their home

No it's not simple
We stamped on our
Own spine.

We ran stampedes passed
The Line.

Now...
I couldn't tell,
I truly don't know.

If there is anything
To fight for.

Dark I know
But I pray for the day
When the sun swells
And we start again.

I see fingers of rock
Coming up the earth.
It's a giant
Being expelled
By the construction of the subway.

Parrots parrot
Above my head.

Behind the *******
Of a statue,
Some creepy fellas
Sell creep,
Others ask for snow white,
I see a family eating ice cream
Without a clue as to the dealings
Of the dealers.
A happy old man,
And only girls
Competing for their father's love.
In a park in the middle of Santiago, some things happen.
This is Santa Isabel and San Diego.

If I was an eagle,
Soaring through skies,
If I was a cloud,
And my inner self dries.

If I was a giant,
Who never hurt flies,
If I was a demon,
With red, behind my eyes.

If I was Benedict Arnold,
Who always told lies,
Would you still love me,
Despite my disguise?
Just a quick write :)
Late, late one night, I heard a faint scream it woke me from a horrible dream.
I raised my head from my soft pillow I hear a faint sobbing across the meadow.
I went to the window to see what was wrong when I spied something lumbering along.
I thought to myself, poor woman is stuck in those toothy like Jaws.
As I heard that desperate faint scream as they entered the woods on the way down to the stream.
As I put on my boots and ran out the door, I grabbed my shotgun, it was against my door.
I heard a scream within the woods so distant and faint it was frightening to know that it was so bold to run in full force into that unknown.
As I reached the woods, I stopped to think, what shall I do when I meet up with the thing?
No thoughts came to mind so I ran in time to see a woman screaming through the pines.
Help, help me please the woman did scream.
So, I followed that ant to its mound just a little away from the town.
It climbed to the top and without a second thought it slid right down into that deep drop.
So, I climbed that steep anthill just to the top and I peeked without a thought.
I could hear her screams within that deep dark hole being ripped apart from her head to her toes. The screams were so loud that they echoed right out of the hole.
So, I picked up my gun, and I ran down the mound straight back to my lovely little old town.

A mouse is small
and a mouse is brown
but when one appears
big people scream loudly.
I wonder if the small, brown mouse
knows why there's so much noise.
Poor mouse is getting bullied!
Chased by giants!
Giants are slow, though.
Big and loud and slow, you know,
and too preoccupied with other things
to catch every quick little mouse.
I think the mouse will win this one.
But I heard they don't like chilli powder.
