I had this tremendous fear.
The mist soon all around;
The water around capsizes.
Substance attends, a funeral of sorts.
I've never ventured this far.
Soon they return, looking back.
Fleeing wildish scream.
My former thought bold.
Such my hope.
Resurfacing the ill fated.
The thought of sinking.
Forced to roam in darkness.
Where would I place my feet.
Perplexed, nothing was the same.
Cold, unable to find comfort.
I drifted, longing to chance the size of waves.
Distant waters courteous in expectation.
I too braced for it.
Becoming motionless.
Awaiting descent.

Not all ships sink.
The voyage extended from strangers eyes.
When the wind stops and the sail settles.
Some peculiar gaze, heavily weighed in length.
The ship sinks.
But this I feel far too late.
I am at the bottom.
The bottom of her heart

Even though I sank below
         the fatigue of life.

I was never worn,
         instead I was steadfast.

Never being eroded by others
             singular erosion.

I was more than your reflection,
                 never eroding beneath your gaze..

Nang makita ka
Lukso ng aking puso’y
Lalong bumilis
Kislap ng mata
Ngiti sa aking labi
Pilit tinago
Ako’y nautal
Di nagkanda-ugaga
Dahil nagalak
Sapagkat tayo’y
Bubuo ng memorya
Nang magkasama

For someone who made my heart skip a beat from the moment I lay my eyes on him, not for the first time, not for the second time, neither the third time; perhaps—– every time. // 03.29.18

I LOVE...

Those warm days
that symbolize your warm gaze

Those long nights we spend
planning for what lies ahead

Those sweet dawns
of watching the vanishing moon

BUT...

The warmness is melting down
the thought of holding on

The future itself isn't pleased
and trying to stop us towards it

Those dawns seem to be the one fading
No more cuddling just too much suffering

I love everything about you,
But everything disagrees.

Gazes

I'm between his numb expressions,

Lesser a stare, more than just a look,

Not every time is he stealing a smile,

But more than a while he's been

I fear I react just to cold and fire,

And his vigour is somewhere in between,

I fear, he's built the fear in me,

That someday maybe he'll turn around and give in

Lose the patience, find some other back and gazes to steal.
This is my second poem here.
This place is really passionate and means a lot to me.
And this poem is really special to me,  simply close to my heart.

When you think you are holding onto
the last shred of yourself,
don’t spend it on the
words that have been long lost in the air,
on the gazes that the eyes have long forgot.
Keep it safe for yourself.
You have lost bigger things than love
and you have still lived well.
And a broken heart is something
that everyone needs in life.

Sharp and Cold
Those glass like eyes
Once you fall under their gaze
There is no way to resist.
