everyone flying high above the clouds
a gasp and i fell on the ground,
my blue ink is now red, glittering with tears
their blue ink fought the great war, the real winners
pain for evermore caused by the dagger,
a dream so grand, an epic defeat
a search party sent into the woods,
i pray now & then to rise
a latibule to reverse the augury
ended up in a chimera
someone set fire to the woods
suffering from asphyxiation
learnt about the twinkling lights in the sky
learnt about the script that was never mine
i dreamed to be so high, stargazer is just a word now
my dream shattered, i cried
an excruciating pain

The intimacy of blending dream and reality.
To dream of our convergence, To live in your world,
To hold you till we wither to dust,
And for our souls to dance to the beating of our hearts.
My heart yearns and my soul cries for you, Knowing I may not be worthy of your heart yet.
Serendipity, that I am even alive to know of your divine presence.
Your beauty irradiates like a conflagration, And the world pauses to see you.
Those serene brown eyes, a symphony of euphoria, Your unique style, a mesmerizing display,
A tapestry of beauty in every way.
Skin soft as moonlight,
Smile an eternal flame burning brightly, never to be extinguished.
The reality is your beauty, the dream is me being in it.
That is a wish,
My wish.

Love me for the first time.
Baby.

Love me like.
It's the last breath you'll breathe.

Keep me in your pocket.
So you never lose sight,
Of me.

Don't know what I'd do.
Without you.

Maybe I'd be lost.
Trapped in my fears.
Left broken in tears.

Love me like the first time.
Baby.

Love me like you'll never leave.
I only see myself through you.

You made me believe.
In a different dream.

So love me like the first time.
Never let it go.
Never let it die.

Just hold me like it's the last time.

Cauliflower glow dances gently so
on window pane as fog billows,
my dreams tucked safely in
nestled embrace of familiar
blanket and pillow.

The rain falling on concrete
like feathers dancing in the wind
soft neon lights reflected on
the puddles as they began to pile
on the busy pulse of the city.

ESCAPE, GET OUT, FREE YOURSELF

splattered across billboards,
a promise of freedom on
sunny beaches and vacation homes -

But what freedom is there
when one is made to return
to their cage.

Laughs die
Lives end
Tears dry out

Minds waver
Bones crumble
Bodies disappear

Eyes close
Dream stop
Longings fade away

The end I hear,
A piercing cry
Shadows come near
Death's shadow coming near

How wonderfully divine
It is to be human;
To hold mortality in the mind,
And infinity inside.
Behind
My eyes are boundaries of grey,
yet,
A promise so colorful.
And I am thankful, for
I have claimed it
Ten thousand times over.

How strange it is to lay awake
On a silent snow covered night
Can not sleep my mind overtake?
Under the glowing bedside light
Slumber come quick for goodness' sake!

Perhaps our dreams like an earthquake
Open our tired eyes to our plight.
Carefree smile covering heartbreak
Upon a face beaming so bright
So no-one can see what's in our wake

You stepped into my life, quiet and new,
A spark unexpected, a flame in the blue,
But with every word, a riddle unfolds,
Do you mean what you say, or hide truths untold?

I watch for the signs, the nuance, the shade,
In a maze of intentions where trust is unmade,
Your presence feels warm, yet shadows creep near,
Is this something to cherish, or something to fear?

I fear the rhythm we’ve started to find,
The comfort that settles, entwining my mind,
For the closer you come, the deeper you stay,
The more I will dread the chance you’ll drift away.

Should I guard my heart, keep it behind walls?
Or let it be open, risk all it entails?
Each moment with you feels tender, unsure,
A beauty so fleeting, but will it endure?

You say all the right things, or so it may seem,
But I wonder if I’m just caught in a dream,
Do you feel this connection, or let it pass by?
Am I holding your hand, or chasing the sky?

Still, here I remain, in this fragile embrace,
Wrestling with time, the unknown I face,
Hoping the threads that bind us won’t break,
Praying this isn’t a fleeting mistake.

For while I don’t know how long you’ll remain,
I cherish each moment through joy and through pain,
And though I may lose you, I’ll never forget—
The beauty of risking, with love, no regret.

There's guardians at the edge of
waking sleep

Withholding information
as dawn doth creep

I don't know what
they are withholding?
but it must be mighty
deep.

I pour these words on paper
When everyone's at slumber
I dream when everyone's awake
Like a serpent dutiful for one's sake

I slither, I toil, I breathe, I devour
All it seems for a tiny glasshour
My antidote is mercy not love
A crow as white as a dove

Salvation will not reach me for an eons
My busy hands are as tired as a peon's
Darkness is light, when it is solemn
My chains will forever be broken
