It
It's here, is it not? It came back like it said.
I felt it knocking, I felt it pounding,
on the doors, on the windows, everywhere.
I didn't let it in, how is it here?
There has to be a crack on the wall,
It slithered through like a snake,
a snake it is, I say.

Have you felt it yet, have you?
You can't see it, can you?
I don't think it has a shape, it's something else.
It can speak though, and it's got claws,
it used to scratch me all the time,
that's how I got these bleeding scars, see?
It spoke to me.

I have a riddle for you, can you figure it out?
It's got no mouth, it's got no voice, but it can speak
It can make you forget, it can speed up time.
It can cloud your sight, it can make you blind.
It will sleep by your side, and it'll follow you around.
I gave you a riddle, can you figure it out?
I'm sure you can, you can feel it too, can't you?
It's depression.

Evil abound in the dark night air
The watcher is waiting
As you feel its blood thirsty stare

Sweat starts to form
On your brow and your cheek
As fear grabs your voice
So you cannot even speak

Icy fingers of terror
Run down your neck to your back
As you nervously anticipate
The demons vicious attack

Palm to your chest
You feel your heart race
As the blood starts to slowly
Drain from your face

White as if paper
Ashen colored with fright
As you imagine the unbearably
Painful first bite

Fear in your heart
And tears in your eyes
As you try to be brave
And await its surprise

It steps from the shadows
And into full view
The hideous evil
That was waiting for you

With the light you now see
A form and its shape
Wondering what’s in store
And wanting death over ****

But to your relief
Through tearful eyes you now see
It’s not evil or hateful
As you believed it to be

It stands in the light
Unthreatening and at ease
Not wanting to harm
But only to please

The wings on its back
Are now spread wide and of white
That shines with a pleasing
Soft gleaming light

Its features so beautiful
And wondrous to see
Your fear and the terror
Are suddenly set free

For this is not a creature
Of death, evil or hate
But a loving blessed angel
From heavens front gate

In that moment it was clear
All your life you did waste
For fearing the unknown
And judging in haste

Can't fight the tears that aren't welling

Can't wallow in the past and keep dwelling

Maybe you'll find time, to wallow in rhyme

Cause Misery's the poetry I'm sellin
Tis the season to be jolly -  or is it?

sun-kissed dewy skins,
lovely sugar lips
adorn me, oh baby,
angel stolen kisses,
feel my heart aching,
tingly ugly bruises.

stealing daises from
your garden,
watch you kiss that demon.
heaven blessed us baby,
feel your stares, so deadly.

read you like a poem,
love you like a rhythm,
darling i'd die for you
a thousand songs i'd
sing for you.

just let me take your hand,
show you a little bit of light,
baby, we'll be ******.
walk me through the night.

watch you kiss that demon,
paint myself in crimson.
baby let me love you,
baby let me kiss you.

what a sweet, sweet angel,
but sadly, in love
with a demon.
sweet, sweet angel. why'd you love a demon?

There is hate in me,
behind my happy, innocent, calmness,
beneath the surface of my optimism
lies a demon of anger, depression, and fear.

But I can't let the hate go onto others,
they don't deserve to feel the pain of the cruel words I think,
the sadness that tides me make me cry oceans before I sleep,
So it gets released onto me.

Each scar on my wrist represents a fight,
a battle with this internal monster.
Each line means another win, for I have not given up,
not yet.

I will keep fighting.
Fighting so that my friends never need to feel this pain,
so that they never need to  worry,
so that I can keep smiling for them.

I will always fight,
and I won't lose to the hate in me.
I know this definitely isn't my best. It was more of a venting session than actual poetry. Sorry.

Take the Pain
Take the Fear
I don't want them
to be left here

alone with me
because they
will break me
I fear

So angels send me
to a place where I can stay
away from the demons
that chase me in my mind

They fight and they kick
they never go away
so please help
and save me

From the demons
in my head
and let me sing
with you again

The angel called to me,
said I have wings for you,

The demon called to me,
said I have chains for you,

Living in a dome,
Imma bout to take this to the dome,
Come to my domain,
Let me change you,
Let me corrupt you,

Come let me serve you,
Give me elegant servants,
Imma put them in my dome with me,

Come sit in my dome with me,
lets watch the sun execute us...

Let us be reborn as one tonight
Confused cause I am

"Black eyes"

My eyes close and the world goes away.
I'm up at night and sleep during the day.
Confined in the infinite black that came.
Spotlights on me, who's calling my name?
Out of the shadows he came in view.
A familiar face I thought I knew.
Though I couldn't  recognize...
His identity was fortified by his black eyes.
Symbols carved in skin still blood red.
"Can't you see I'm your father"
"No, my fathers  dead..."
I leaned over the coffin and kissed him on the head.
I suddenly felt wickedness leak from this deceiver.
I refused to believe this sinister endeavor .
"Come follow me in the dark"
He snarled, teeth sharp vicious like a shark.
I shook my head no, I refused to go.
The darkness goes nowhere except down below.
The demon faded out as I fell down and wept.
Pillow soaking tears as I painfully slept.
This dream drove me crazy for 1 full week.
But I didn't tell anyone, I wouldn't dare speak.
A peaceful spirit came through, her heart gold and true...
The Catastrophic secret, she came because she knew.
She pointed me to the way and said I can follow.
Blinded by the light, I'm choked up and can't swallow.
Embraced by serenity the that came from above.
It flew down gracefully, an alighted white dove.
The wind moved the trees with a slight breeze.
Acquiring protection now I can sleep with ease.
This is a poem I wrote from years ago. It's about a dream I had that really changed my life.
