"I love you"'s whispered through phone receivers,
Gave hope for another day.
We did this dance around each other's heads,
As sweet nothings played to the sound of our song.
He and I,
content.
Happiness had never been my strongest emotion,
until I found him.
No feeling could match the one he gives me,
like being right where I belong.
It is at moments like this,
that I know,
without a doubt in my heart,
that he is the one for me.

morning air
bittersweet, home-made mocha
my dog’s wet tongue
glitter glue
how quiet we were
soft lips
a few made-up worlds
a new made-up bed
how we touched heads
the way she looks at me
friends who don’t hate me
me, who won’t hate me
ocean water
cheese tortellini
waving hands
turning tides

Like nature I do not want to be dependent on you.
I want to be one with myself.
I want to grow and evolve.

Like the tiniest seeds, I want to be carried away by the wind, the rain or the animals.
I want to find myself in the soil as it protects me from ****** birds and excited worms.
I want to sprout out from the soil, experience the sun,
Embrace the wind,
Harbor the cold
And face pure germination.

As they say germination can be thought of as anything expanding into greater being from a small existence or germ.

Like nature I do not wish to be dependent on you.
Regardless of the love you do not give me,
I will extend my roots and find it within me.
Because you might think I need you, but the truth is I don't.
I have learned to evolve just like nature
Not a lot of people know this bit nature is not dependent on us. Because in the end if we do not take care of it. It will evolve, it learns to survive and get through with its days. It's going to live forever no matter how we care for it.

If you keep wanting what you don't have,
*you'll never have what you want

It's sweltering hot out there.
I can feel the heat dripping off of me,
the sweat falling off the bottom of my sunglasses,
and my upper lip beginning to become moistened as well.

I leave my sunglasses on.
They make the freeway an orange tone that matches the heat perfectly.
I'm not sure if the air conditioning is broken in my car or not
but I don't attempt to use it I'm so serene in the California sun.

I keep putting my hand out the window although it
doesn't cool me down.
I just feel the heat in between my fingers.
I close my hand because I'm driving so fast the hot wind is beginning to
hurt my hand and I curl it into a small fist.
The image in my rear view mirror is that of a deformed child's hand,
all curled up and pressed down by the speed.
It makes me laugh and reminds me of when I was a child
and I use to distort my face into the ugliest face I could make.
I would stand their in front of the mirror staring at this ugly figure
and ask myself if I would have any friends.
I always thought that I wouldn't even be my own friend with that ugliness,
and then I would change my face back,
so thankful that it was only a game and I was beautiful again.

I inhale another bowl,
the pipe was left in my car and so the tip of it is so hot I can barely press my lips to it.
I feel the sting for a second and then exhale a huge gust of
marijuana smoke that bursts into my steering wheel and then
dissipates throughout the car and rushes out the open window.

I am happy,
exhilarated,
it's April and it's already 103 degrees.

When you get dealt a **** hand, and have no eyes to stare into along with an,"it's okay".
Remember that you can walk away. And you may not be the happiest you can be, but you can still be happy. And you can tell yourself that it'll be okay.

Live life to the fullest because were all
Going to die in the end as long as I
             Have you I'll be content
I dont have an extraordinary life
                          Plain Jane
As long as I have you Im sane
Promise me that you will never leave
Or I will lose my ****
Theres alot that I would do to keep you
                 I could  write a list
            But diminishing my self -worth

the child gazed with caramel eyes
up towards the vast, dark sky
and with contentment he sighed
as he watched a dragonfly
make its way into the night
Late August,
the 6 o’clock sun rests itself on my skin.
Myself, I rest in the grass.
I don’t mind if the bugs make themselves at home in my hair,
that the cicadas are singing,
or that the bright, setting light could disintegrate the emerald from my eyes.
This hour, and breathing, I am content.
