Could you love a stranger after five seconds?
Five minutes, or five years?

A breathless moment;
Lost words.

We shared our galaxies as our eyes met.

Warm smile turned curious grin—
And I knew our thoughts were the same.

Tangled hands;
No regrets.

Our first union recalled in different glimpses of time.

And this night when the stars unravel our secrets—
Just love in this moment.

              spilled          some
                                         words
        on                  the

Floor and
                                               as they lay
                    they
                                      surmount
     all
I've    ever     written.

...and I lay down my pen for a broom.

She took a step back in life, but I guess
you can tell from the weariness she wear
and from the strain lines her brow bear
which her eyes tried to hide: without success
for the shadow beneath them- a gift from sleepless
night and restless thought that always appear
tireless and make her heart sag with despair;
and all this brought upon by a single mess:
from which she has now learn that loyalty
comes an awful second behind self interest and
a bird in hand is worth more than twenty
on a tree. She has taken a step back in life and
had she trust men she would've been in a pretty
hot soup instead of looking forward to a step forward.

in another life,
i hope we still find a
way to each other

i hope we would stay
side by side until
the end of forever

in another life,
i hope we were happier
together.

I've come across people who were waiting most of their lives.
Waiting for better ways on how they could live
while others just chose to wither away and die.

There were those who waited too long for love to arrive.
But when it finally came, they were already too afraid
to take the leap and dive.

There were those who waited for the meaning of their existence.
But when the opportunity came to define who they were,
they decided to let go of that chance.

There were those waiting for freedom.
But when the shackles were loosen and finally removed,
they chained themselves back.
For they missed the prison, their pain.

And then I've come across myself
waiting for the sun to rise and shine after the dark.
But when I saw the sunlight in your eyes,
I let you go and turned away with a silent goodbye.

To the girl he is in love with,
Don't let your story be a myth.
He deserves a love beyond it,
for he is a man full of wit.
please don’t waste the guy I never had a chance with.

Profusely thanking their gods and goddesses
when striking it big
Slinking silently from the table
when losing it all
But ever faithful to their capricious gods
Never ever seeing the ever seeing eye
Or the hidden algorithms
Calculated to lure you again and again
To play and pay for the thrills
That by Chance you're the gods' favoured one.
