I hate them,
'Cause sometimes
They drain me
Of all my
Energy.
Of all my
Loneliness,
Sadness,
Anxiety,
My worries.
I hate them,
'Cause sometimes
They take away
All of my
Friends.
Now that
We're all
Closer than before.
We really are.
It's a part of me.
I don't want people to take away something that's a part of me.
I hate it sometimes, but I also can't live without it.

We may falter we may fall,

                          But if one of us is able to rise

          from the ashes

then others didn't fall at all.

For they live in me and I'm vengeance

                                         watch them all falter.

They will evaporate like rain,
                soaking the earth as they fall.

We may have faltered,
                                       but you fell before
              you thought i'd have fallen but I

like the fallen, we all stand tall...

A home
That is not something you buy
A home is someone you ask
A turn in the road of life
You try
Having better than taken alone
You build each other up
People these days are so scared of committment. Lord knows I am as well. (;

Short wet hair in wild sheets
With seeping eyebrows bent with dew
Tired breath, warm chest
And memory foam
Soft cotton sleeves layered like carved stone
And quiet cold from windows still
Our heads beneath these pair of sills
With heaving breaths in unison bound
Our heartbeat drums the only sound
Amidst these vibrant warms around
Mere unity I'm pleased
Surrounds
Showers before bed

"But I’ll know my song well
before I start singin’"

Bob Dylan
"A Hard Rain A-Gonna Fall"
~~~
thought this poem down years ago,
while hiking in a nature preserve,
never wrote it up,
never knew why
I'm a
top-of-lungs shower singer,
a hiking poet,
dripping italicized words from the
four corners of mine eyes
my voice,
*****,
my song,
a work in progress,
my brain, says,
challenge,
asking
how dare you sing words,
you know
that I know,
don't know your song well,
well enough,
to start singin'?
the flowers and the fauna,
sea grass, lagoon, deep forest cover, beach,
butterflies hiding in bamboo stalks,
the deer, the fox, the chipmunks
all start laughing at me
"look upon us,
a single preserve
is our shelter,
a thousand years in the making,
our song has hardly begun
we are a forever
work-in-progress,
just like you
so sing of us, sing of you,
learn the chords as you go along,
finger the word notes,
try out variations,
realize this unfixed change,
is all of us
preserving
that friend
is indeed,
your song
you know it
well enough,
that's why
you have
never stopped tryin' and never stopped
singin'
Do?
Do you even like me anymore?
Do you love as much as before?
You can love someone and not like them
before you
i felt alive
and after you
i still feel alive
as it turns out
i never needed you
to make me feel anything
