How am I suppose to swim this mighty sea?

All my possessions have become an anchor,
an anchor of immense weight
Keeping me in this small vicinity

This territory known by the great white
and every sea creature
Will they come when hungry to visit me?

Lord knows I don't wish to be their next meal
I thought that I knew you well. I guess not because look at the lies that you tell. I don't know who you are. Heck do you?

You walk around smiling as if you are so kind an innocent. When you are gushing over with your sneaky ways..and the
lies. Life would be so much easier if you were   honest and upfront.

You say one thing to me and another to them. It all comes back. You pretend to be lost an confused.

The worst part is that you act as if it's everyone's fault but yours. A man owns up to his words an actions. A man wants to be seen. He doesn't hide behind accessories. Be who you really are. Introduce yourself to the world. Because all they know about you right
now..is that you.
      are... The Lie.
Sometime you just can't take people serious. Don't stress what you can't change. -Frances Lillian Bynum

The sinking feeling of an anchor dropping down to the bottom of the sea
Hopelessness
Waves slamming you against the shore again and again, gasping for air and only getting lungs full of sand
A lifeless body being spit out by the ocean
The tide gently caressing it
Like you would caress a sick child
Only to pull it back in
Where it will be swallowed by the depth
Remembered no more
The shower rushes over
  He thinks he's dying
He can't tell if he's crying
But he looks at his flowers
Etched on his arm.
He holds
That Rose
That Anchor and he knows
“I must keep trying"

What is my faith
My faith is my identity
Something that takes ahold of me
My anchor
My anchor is what keeps me still when the storms come by
The anchor that holds me gives me confidence to stand
The anchor that keeps my life still is now gone
No anchors hold me
Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance of what we do not see
Well this faith of mine is my anchor
But is my faith my anchor if  i do not hope for it or believe it is there
Did someone steal it or did i just let go
When the storms come
They come like angry winds with salty cries
They scare me
But the anchor i depended on to save me i let go of
Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance of what we do not see
Where did my anchor go
(please give feedback ) this poem is about a time where i just let go of my faith and the moment i realized it was not there anymore

I want to tell you
how you slowly became the tree
that guards me from the happiness and sadness
of the world,
and let me create my own.
How it was lovely to see you grow.
How it hurt to love you.
How beautiful you were even in the worst of your moments.
How I selfishly wanted to be the only scar on your heart
and only smile on your face.
How,on days that I desperately
looked for a reason to stay,
yours was the only name
that anchored me in this world.
I will tell you how I always lived
dreaming of death,
dreaming of release,
and how thankful I am that
you kept me alive.
I will tell you all this.
But not today.
Some other time.
And
Jesus
said
unto them

I
am
the
bread

of
life

He who
comes
to
Me

shall

never hunger

and

he who
believes
in
Me

shall never thirst
?
