my lifeline may be invisible
or maybe less than tangible
but it is the most mythical and magical
thing to ever be available
and to me it is invincible

i was standing there
in the dark
in silence
lost in thoughts.

i couldnt even stare at you.

but its okay now.
i have Him
and the promises
saying that everything will be alright.

and i wont ever stumble down.

Too many strings are wrapped
around my heart and chest.
With such a knotted mess,

This poetry is a reflection of love, I’m just here to explain it.
The world is my canvas, you should see all the pictures that I’ve painted.
Violins violently playing symphonies of pain and misery.
It’s not a mystery how I have God sitting right here next to me.
I’m heading home from church, but this time I’m walking alone.
Sometimes reflections bring a sense of regress.
I smile even though the world keeps elevating my stress.
These hands have held together fragments of a fragile conversation.
We are able to talk for hours because these words flow with no hesitation.
You are lost in the world and you’re always left feeling alone.
Friends should never lose hope in trying to find their way back to one another.
Wherever you are I hope all these words find you.
Love is a beautiful thing and I’m here to remind you.
I’ll hold you together, I’ll help you rediscover the splendour in your smile.
Everything will be alright even though we haven’t seen each other in a while.
I’m in the dark about all the problems that you’re currently facing.
So lead me into the light and refrain me from being complacent.
Even the congregation knows you cannot always save everybody.
But hey, it wouldn’t hurt to at least try to save somebody.
We are all fighting different battles, losing limbs in the midst of war.
Maybe someone needs your love and light now more ever than before.
Maybe you could try saving somebody tonight.
God got us, I know we will all eventually be alright.

I don't say I love you so I can hear it come out of your mouth like a parrot. I say it so there will never be a reason why you should ever think it's not true.

Don't mind the days we don't speak for hours
Don't mind if they turn into weeks

If you see a scar on our bodies, think nothing of it. Never ask how we got it, just look the other way.

If you see our journal lying on the bed, move it to the table side and walk out of the room.

If we look frail, smile at us and leave the stove on.

If our eyes are red, hand us eye drops and give us cold glass of water.

When the principal calls to see how we are doing after a week of not coming to school, tell him we came down with something contagious. Don't tell him we ran away for a couple of days.

When my friends don't come over or call, don't think anything of it.

If you're worried, don't be. We'll be alright soon enough, we just have to get through all this **** by ourselves first.
