You are brief and frail and blue--
  Little sisters, I am, too.
You are Heaven's masterpieces--
  Little loves, the likeness ceases.

This was the first Bible verse I was taught as a child. This is how my journey in Christ begin understanding this small verse.
Word art happens Organically.
The sword represents the spoken word, a double edge, sword. Part of God’s holy armor. I did not set out to make the pattern it just happened.
This is a coming of age
Parable

The wise old medicine man
teaches life lessons to the youth clan.
He shares  cautionary tales to the village,
Before they learn to **** and pillage

“There are two WOLVES,
in every Person’s heart.”

The first WOLF
Is Unadulterated  Evil;
Destructive upheaval
Pride, Rage, Jealousy,
and Greed,
Unescapable
Satan’s Sin’s Seed

This WOLF will lie,
Trick and Deceive you
into thinking, you are
your own god.

“Come into my parlor”,
said the spider to the fly
“Sure, I’m poisonous,
but you shall not die.
It’s only
a little white lie”

The second WOLF
Shows you right from wrong
God printed on your heart all day long
Examples of; pure love, and to be good,
Caring with forgiveness as you should.

In life you must battle for your soul
Heaven or Hell, Eternity your ultimate goal
Many times each day, You must Choose
To Win or lose, Your life is in transition
you have to make a decision,

Are you predator or prey?
As each WOLF speaks,
Can you here what they say?
“Wide is the path of many,
that leads to destruction,
narrow is the path, of few,
that leads to righteousness(KJV)

The children ask
Which WOLF will win?

The wise, old medicine, man
looks into their trusting eyes,
He ponders a moment
then gives a quiet reply;

Each of you will decide before
You take a walk on the wild side.
What is it you want or need.
A Path to Salvation or
Your desire to feast on greed
It’s all predicated by

THE ONE
YOU
FEED
This was something I’ve heard many different ways, and I kind of just made a version of it with the original premise. The author is unknown.
For what I desire, I will have to
set my sleep on fire.
I have realised over and over again that when you truly want something so desperately, it gets your adrenaline running, you can give it all up.
To you I am like the winter snow,
There is only this much of me you will ever know,
There are darker parts of me buried under the snow.
There is so much a person will know as much as you are willing to show. No one can ever know all of you but you. You man seem as beautiful and fascinating as the snow but know one will know the inner dangers covered underneath the snow.
I know i was born for something greater
than just wait and watch life pass me by.
I have a purpose i feel deep within my core;
A need to fulfill every time my heart screams
"don't settle, not yet".
I believe i can be all i want to be,
All i need to do is hear my calling
in this suppressed world of illusions.
I don't know how far i can go
but i won't stop trying.
You will always find people especially loved ones who will not always support your dreams, but if you want it bad and it gives you chills, know that it is the right thing to do. Don't dishearten yourself with failures, it is the most vital part of your progress.
I feel like the faded part of love;
it feels like the end even before it had a chance to begin.

I feel like the faded part of love;
An invisible longing from a lover,
unsettling and echoing in the dark.
A conastantaneous pain that slowly crawls into my body and engulfs the soul that seeks freedom from all the humanly attachments.

I feel like the faded part of love!
I feel like the faded part of love!
Expressing the feeling of what it's like to be in love with a man already taken and the longing and the understanding and the fight within oneself of never really having him completely to yourself. The feeling of knowing that he was never to be yours to begin with.
I will love you when winters are old and summers are tired;
I will love you between all hours;
For my mind only wonders with you and what can I say about the heart, it’s fallen too.
are you seventeen yet?

have the berries and the shells
stained impossibly
your youthful heart permanent,
have you matured and learned
to end sentences
in question marks?

surely certainty and
alack, its absence,
haunts
all your waking poems,
wonder does your mother know
what you’ve purloined,
stored in you
from her withins?

so young, so much love
oil spilling,
do you wonder about
the depth of the field
you are drilling, extracting -
is the soft supple supply,
so, close to the surface,
endless?

life so far is but a draft.

take copious notes
for the best is yet
and I await patiently
the novella of your
adventures!
