I see the sunlight dappled on the hill,
A balmy afternoon in the late Spring,
I hear the sweet beautiful birdsong still;
It's a time when all the birds sweetly sing!
And the meadows of flowers sweetly blow,
They perfume the air with fragrance so sweet,
Sometimes at evening when I walk slow;
I stop to see those flowers at my feet.
I stop and stoop to smell their dear sweetness,
For they are filled with everlasting grace,
For sometimes they will my fair cheeks caress;
And brush their petals up against my face.
I admire they're so very sweet beauty,
They are a very fond treasure to see!

Poison

Look at me;
watch as my body
caves to your
everything.
Your hands are
like a poison
seeping into
my skin,
infecting every
inch of my body.
But please,
continue on,
I won't dare ask
you to stop;
You're easily the
worst, best thing
that's ever happened
to me.

Crawl across
this bed love,
and greet me with
your sweetest kiss.
I don't need a
million things
to bring a smile
to my lips,
just give me you
and I'll be content.

Fool

I'm such a fool;
I fall too easily
with anyone
willing to love
me in the moment.
I get attached,
and they go home.
I end up the way
I started, only
feeling lonelier
than before 'hello'.

As I lay awake in wait.
Before the sun is up to start the day.
Creating radiance for all to behold.
Darkness will be waiting, watching.
Though the sun won't let go.

She's smiling, but she's hiding.
Every girl is like the moon,
Parts are almost always hidden.
I learn those parts first,
and just watch the rest.

He takes me by the hand
And he kisses my red lips
He says
'Baby, you're mine you're mine you're mine'
And I look him in his green eyes,
I let the ash from my cigarette fall
And I tell him
'No baby, I am mine, I am mine, I am mine'
I am gazing up through mirrored glass
At dreams and aspirations once abundant in my mind
I watch them as they float overhead
Sorrowful, and mourning at the distance, the barriers
But in this mirrored glass
I see only my own mourning
And the sorrow of my life fragmenting
And slipping away amongst the riptides
Whilst currents pull me under and under
Where I stare at my own failures
I am thousands of fathoms deep
And still sinking
