She sat at the corner of my mind
Comfortably installing herself.
Many ways to interpret this. I'll leave it to you..

betterdays
she sits
pressed into the
corner of the sofa
a scrap of a thing
so frail
and beautiful
but
somehow
damaged

hee marks
have dropped
from
high distinctions
to
pass-fails
and
whilst
she attends class
her voice is
no longer heard
her body
barely there
she has gone
from vivacious
to corpse bride....

and we are worried

she is crying silently
big sad tears
roll down her cheeks
as she tries to
dissappear into
the fabric of the couch

the index finger
of her right hand
is desperately scratching
at the fabric

i ask the questions
gently.....interspersing
them with safe statements
what is wrong?
you are not in trouble
we just want to see you
happy.
is there any thing
i can do to help?
any thing you say
in here will not be
repeated without your
permission.
why are you so sad
at the moment?
you are safe in here

her lip quivers
she pulls into herself
even more
she is a ball of misery

we sit......

and then a whisper
so quiet and tremulous
i almost did not catch it

he ***** me.....
i said no....
but
he ***** me....
this poem is an amalgam of young girls, that over the years have come to me
with this particular issue
sadly too many to count
on my fingers....
all broken in some way...
it is so very sad
and wrong....

A jolt too, once in a while I like,
to **** me back to the center of my being,
she said, not always a flower I seek
though I appreciate a fragrant bloom
on a plant, no doubt about it.
Give me a pleasant surprise,
show me what I miss without fail,
let us be alert, to complete each other
push me out of complacency,
thus help me see more clearly.
Water my thirsty inner plants copiously
and see how happily they greet you
with flowers, buzz of bees and fragrance,
enjoy the dance with life even if
our steps falter a bit in the beginning
let the dogs bark, night be dark
winds blow heavy and strong,
let the change of weather never bother us,
moving forward is the order of nature.
Softly kiss my soul with  noble acts
it's not for here and now, but for
eternity to keep as a treasure incandescent.

Somber wind flows through a slow September evening
It comes as the drifted clouds on the poet's old window
Where there is a sigh on a little sky is being
It has grown melancholic ashes in the twilight shadow

Where wind is not too fast
As if it's free from fine dust, but melts with a little gust
Again, it's whispering the dreamy last sweet summer
And at the late evening wind  has blown through the murmur

One day the liquid words were coming from the heart
And its glitter's glee gifted the poet a poetic art
Where it grew the purple plants on the land too dart,
Then it bloomed too many dreams of bud

When the compact words are trying to sing
as the jingling on the poet's dry lips
Where the poet is writing an ode that has a pair of wing
but metaphors have metamorphosed as the crystal chips

Creating too many bubbles of pain
Those are floating on the flow of the stream
The poetic rhythm is twisting with the September rain
and on the air that has turned to be a rapid steam

But the truth is,
My dear,
You could break my heart
A million times
In a million little pieces
And I would pick them all up
Just to put them back
Into your hands.
Autumn approaches
hiding her dance of decay
beneath russet skirts.

Evenings bleed early
through chill days
bringing steel dawns.

All falls silent
as leaves pirouette gaily
to the swansong of summer.

Birdsong threads remain
as harmony takes flight
to sheltered shores.

Autumn approaches,
bitter winter tracing steps
in her glorious wake.

It's hard to
forget
and let go,
I know.
But when you do
You'll
forget
the things
You're supposed to.

Erennwrites
It's never easy. It might take months or even years for something that's been there like forever. I know how it feels. It tears you up inside You can't breath, you can't sleep.
He/She is all you could think about everyday.
But when you do,
The whole universe will follow your pursuit.
Pursuit to your own happyness.:)
I got inspired again. Dedicated to a friend who's going through a difficult phase in her life.
This is for you.

The best love of all?
Is when you both
Found it at your worst
Because,
Through all the flaws we see
The beautiful truth.

Erennwrites
Hmm. I got inspired. It's not done yet.
But I'll post it anyway.
The full work will be uploaded soon:)

What do you see?
I see a crooked nose & asymmetrical features everywhere
What do you see?
I see saggy ******* & ***** freckles everywhere
What do you see?
I see a fat boy who’s trying so hard to breathe
What do you see?
I see a skinny girl who looks like a stick

What do i see?
I see a guy who made his single-mother proud by getting a degree
What do i see?
I see a lady who dances like she owns the world
What do i see?
I see a boy who runs knowing he’s better than this
What do i see?
I see a girl working at her age to let her siblings eat

What you think you see
Is what others seen

The best in you.
You scrutinized on what you are
**Others perceived on what you've done.
Everyone has insecurities that they tried to hide or deny.
Most of them exposed themselves to be deprived on how or what they look like. Sometimes we just forget to just be ourselves.  To be human.

Taking a walk at 2am
As weird as it sounds
It's the silence that draws him
Breaths of the night calms him down
The winds howling raucously
The moon gleamed as if she knows him

The stars glinting decoding a message
To know if he'd live to the fullest
To know if he decided to perish

The trees converse in notions of credence
Reliance in silence to rectify the human's crevice
They knew he's here to emit enmity
Canopies are nowhere in sight
Shadows rested with darkness aligned
He knew it was mundane to believe it could happen
That something might just happen if he believed
But nothing happened

He yelled at the moon
How foolish she was to only shine at night
Only to gleam at him
As darkness laughed as it dictates the night
He hated the darkness
He overcame his fear to be out at this hour
Running until his breath runs out
But he finally walked instead

His senses staggered suddenly
His mind playing tricks
How could this be
He heard voices screaming
How could there be anyone at this hour?

He's floating now
His body glowing blue
He felt this before...

He finally woke up
His family crying with glee
**"YOU FINALLY WOKE UP FROM YOUR COMA!!"
I got inspired.
I always wondered where do they go when they're in a coma.
Are they dreaming?
Are they just beside themselves?
But I do know one thing..
We, the ones who are awake.
We must keep talking to them. Until they're awake.
I know if it's meant to be they will die.
But remember this,
You must never lose hope.
Because they can hear you even when they're asleep:)
