Information
applicable to
any one subject
is called "knowledge,"
whereas
information
cross-applicable to
any number of subjects
is called "wisdom."

The difference
seems to me to be
but a matter of
liberating one's Mind
from functional fixation
and practicing the art of
creative contemplation;
to not fear the unknown
fighting it, running from it;
but to rather welcome it
as a teacher and a friend
and to allow it to noirish
One's innate curiosity.

T'is indeed not a path
for the faint of heart:
those who should dismiss it
and diminutize it
and demonize it
as "the Occult"
are, themselves, guilty
of occluding
such respendant and divine potential!

Darkness-
the unknown-
is just as sacred
as Light, itself,
for Yin
cannot sustain
without Yang.

Such is the Tao:
such is God.

Thus I revere it
and refer to it
as Taogod;
not to limit either,
but instead
to set both terms free!
Hence my term "Taogod"
At Nineteen,
I bore witness to the live Birth of my Son.
He was adopted out via Open Adoption
to a very nice Family a few Hours away in Ukiah.
I'm still in contact with them, I get pictures every six Months
and I'm very happy to also be able to see Him every so many Months.

At Twenty,
I lost my Father. I found him on the floor and called 911. I paid for his Cremation the next day.
It was what he told me he wanted; his ashes are in a box in my room.
Perhaps even moreso than he was my "Father", he was by best Friend;
for better and for worse.

At Twenty-One;
my Girlfriend of Five Years, who was also Mother of the aforementioned Child, and I
broke up on Friendly terms. Now she lives about 200 miles away.
We're still cordial, and I'm glad we still speak.
Eternal Allies are rare to come by,
to say the least.

So far, Twenety-Two has been rather turbulently eventful, as well.
Between Family and their lack, personal choices and relationships,
and the furtherment of my Self as well as my expressive Capacities,
it's been a hell of a Twenty-Two so far,
to say the least.

All of these things leave me with an Understanding
that I cannot ever judge anyone, for I know not of their struggles
and that no One can ever truly judge anyone else,
for the same reason.

Through all of this, I feel evermore
that this Life is ******* great,
and that's no sarcastic remark:

Life
is a trippy and tumultuous Journey
and I'm thankful for this opportunity
to experience this Holiest of Realities, to say the least;
though it is a Lesson in Humility, to say the least.

And thus:

Thank you for reading my writings.
Thank you for taking time out to read what I have to bring forth.
Thank you for existing and expressing.

Blessings upon thy Paths;
wheresoever you've been
wheresoever you're going
thank you just for Being.

Please be your Self; you owe it to your Self,
for that is all you ever have, to say the least,
and so, once more:

*Blessings upon thy Path.
Concise version:

Witnessing the live Birth of your Child will change your Life.
Finding a Parent dead will change your Life.
A good thing gone terribly destructive will change your Life.
Being betrayed will change your Life.

Life is, nonetheless, great.

Thank you for your Time;
Blessings upon thy Path.

I think it's safe to say that at Twenty-Two,
I am already no stranger to true Loss and Anguish.
i have this
looming inkling
that if
you would just accept
that i am not you
and if i accept
that you are not me
we'd likely be
much happier
with one another
as well as
with ourselves-

wouldn't that be pretty ******* sweet?
is that really so outlandish?

i mean,
what if everyone is a unique character
and by being mutually okay with that
we all would get to live and share in
the most dynamic
and unfathomable
stories
many of which
never to be told
ever again?

wouldn't that be
an intrinsic aspect
of the ineffable beauty
of this fleeting, ephimeral Life?
People
who hold to be sacred
different Values
may indeed be
of comparable Worth.

In-groups
and out-groups
are lousy and petty excuses by which
humans seem to like to justify
inhumane injustice.

Yet, I dare to argue
that, as conscious beings,
Consciousness itself
is the only true in-group;
all other schisms are artificial;
artificial lines drawn
upon beaches of our Godselves
by fingers of our own Devilselves.

All things;
potential and manifest,
named and unnamed;
are equal in the dynamic, flowing balance of the Tao.
Talk about idealism! Jeez.
If you disagree, *******. ;)

.
"You're soo going to Hell!"

"Wha-‽Naw; noo.
No. Reckon I ain't.
I ain't goin' ta Hell!
Open yo ****** eyes!
Hell is already upon us.
Hell's right in front'a me.
Hell's right in front'a y'all.
Hell's been tryin' to find me for a good minute
then Hell's comin' for my jester/hard-rock-musician ***
and I'm gonna give it my own hell directly-the-**** back,
thank-you-very-******'-much.

See: the Devil hates being stood up to.
Look him in the eye and hold your ground.
He only has what power you sacrifice to him.
Once you flinch, look away, get cocky: you've lost.
That's the crack in the dam; the noose 'round yo neck.

The same be true of God, the coward.
That's what the Devil did, the traitor.
Go figure he hates it, too!
Authority hates dissent.
Whatever side of whatever **** fence.

They both one of a kind;
spawned of Godmind.
Just like us. What, you surprised?
Jesus ******' Christ!
What are they teaching you in school these days?

Jack-******'-****, I reckon.
Go to hell!"
"My daughter,
when you grow up (enough)
to be able to brandish self-sovereignty
tempered by self-discipline
I only hope that if and when you may choose
to try whatever drugs may appeal to you
you are least fortunate enough
to have access to clean ones
and a safe enough and comfortable enough environment
in which to study your interrelationship with them,
intellectually, physiologically, psychologically, spiritually, and socially,
but not necessarily in that order.

I won't tell you what to do,
but my advice is this:

Don't eat yellow snow:
don't snort yellow coke.

If you're gonna poison yourself,
poison yourself with the good ****.

If you want to see whats up with something,
be certain your sample size is representative.
That's just good Science.
No one likes a false statistic
except those in power
who wish to remain in power
so maintain thy power
to wield thy freedom of choice
armed with an arsenal of personal experiences
sailing with an armada of accurate information
upon the high seas of this uncertain but certainly beautiful Life,
but be prepared to accept the consequences.

That's just responsibility.

That alone oughtta put you well ahead of the curve."
Fictitious, but that doesn't warrant dismissal, I think.
A masterful One hearing of the Tao
immediately begins to embody it.

An average One hearing of the Tao
half believes it and half doubts it.

A foolish One hearing of the Tao
laughs out loud, and yet
should fools not laugh,
it wouldn't be the Tao!

Thus t'is writ:
The path into the light seems dark,
the path forward seems to go back,
the direct path seems long,
true power seems weak,
true purity seems tarnished,
true steadfastness seems changeable,
true clarity seems obscure,
the greatest seem unsophisticated,
the greatest love seems indifferent,
the greatest wisdom seems childish.

The Tao is nowhere to be found,
yet it nourishes and completes all things.

Reiterated slightly from Stephen Mitchell's iteration.

Implications abound
from ethics to psychology
and onward to quantum physics,
and every quanta betwixt and beyond!
"It matters not
the pace at which One moves
so long as One does not stop."
-Confucius
We should strip Churches of their beloved tax-exempt status
if they should continue to fail to reach out to those in need:
the poor, those chased out of their homelands by tyranny,
or those who seek asylum from any type of oppression.
All it takes
to be a Mystic
is to be willing
to take mental risks
for a chance at greater understanding;

All it takes
to be a Mystic
is to delve into the Void,
come back with some new thing
and share that thing with the World;

All it takes
to be a Mystic
is to be sensitive
to one's own Path
reminding others of theirs;

All it takes
to be a Mystic
is to not be afraid
to defy your Time, peers and Culture
to bring forth the Divinity inherent in everything;

All it takes
to be a Mystic
is not not be deterred
by what you are told, but instead
to be guided by what you feel truest in yourself;

All it takes
to be a Mystic
is to be able to interpret
and take things symbolically,
Mythos and Logos, synesthetically creating a new mutual Reality;

All it takes
to be a Mystic
is to be willing and able
to be a Prism for the Divine;
to purify the Mirror of your being;

All it takes
to be a Mystic
is to be Artistic; Creative and Imaginative,
not that the Mystic must be an Artist, or that any Artist is a Mystic,
but that the Mystic is most naturally expressed through the various Artistic mediums;

To be an example for the masses
of just how the many are One
as One is truly the many
and thus All is Divine:

How the Universe itself
and all it's inhabitants
are the expressions
reflections and
manifestations
of the Godself;
An illusion,
A Dream:
Godself
and self
is One.

--
All is a Chapel of Sacred Mirrors
divided by Mind
into Self and Other,
but all is truly Godself:
Collective Unconscious and Personal Conscious,
Brahman and Ātman,
Godself and Self;
One in the same.

Tat tvam asi.

All it takes
to be a Mystic
is to be willing and able
to look inward and learn:

Godself and Self;
One in the Same.
Everyone is creative.
Everyone has talent.
Few are disciplined.
How vein 't'is
to wish Others
be more like you.

Let go;
allow individuals
to be individuals;

enjoy the story
as it is written-
write but thy own.

Turn thy scrutiny inwards
and see how you fare
against thy own glare.

Begrudge not others their character;
simply play along with those you may enjoy
and from which you may perchance learn.
Tolerance and Compassion at work.
Christ-mind is not for the faint of heart.
No wonder the selfish so loathe such spirit.
Be kind and do good
for no good reason;
not because it looks good
but because it is good.

To need a day
to be humane
is to celebrate
fractured empathy.

It is good we have days
where it's hip to give and be nice,
but wouldn't it be nice indeed
if we didn't need to be reminded?

Happy Christmas-
Remember what it signifies.
Think of those with less
and meet everyone
with love, humility, and gratitude.
