" A cigarette is my lover,
Comforting me during my hardest times,
Turning my sadness to smoke
My anger into ember
And caresses my lips
With the deadly kiss of nicotine "

I'm ambivalent
Ambivalence is the state
Wherein a person is torn
Between two opposing decisions

Will I stay or Will I go?
Will I laugh or Will I cry?
Will I live or Will I die?

Torn between two opposing decisions
That can cause me my life
These are questions I ask myself
Everyday...

I'm ambivalent...

When at 12 midnight
My heart beats a certain pace,
I finally turn off the lights
As tears stream down my face

And now I look from here
   The chances I have wasted
But the only chances I have wasted
         Were those I never wanted

On the cold ground here I lay,
Swallowing the feelings I can't convey,
And I cry a silent cry,
For forever I say goodbye

My dress soaked with red,
My eyes only perceive dread,
My blood filling my throat,
My life ceased to devote

Then a sudden gift from fate,
The black that began to dominate,
Fear is not a word to describe,
My dead heart began to feel alive

From his ankles to his shoulders,
Dressed in aristocratic attire,
As dark as the sky at night,
As noble as the Duke's delight

I felt my admiration,
When he approached without hesitation,
My cheeks stained with blood,
But never a trace of disgust

Then, my eyes began to close,
Such precious moment for me to lose,
There is so much to say...
In my next life, on my dying day
This was actually the first poem I've ever finished. Actually just last year because most of the time I didn't finish my poems prior to this

When I made the decision
To say what must be said
        I found out my love
            Was already dead...

Odysseus, we greatly praise you
From your strength and wisdom
The greeks are lucky to have you
And so is your kingdom

Such great adventures, king Odysseus
Its a shock you could survive
The journey was very dangerous
But at least you're still alive
I was actually pressured into making this as I was tested by my english teacher to write a poem about Odysseus in 15 minutes. I just made it comedy so that I could at least get her attention

Aking minamahal,
Alam kong 'di mo kayang mahalin
Kahit anong dasal
Hindi kita kayang angkinin

Ikwekwento ko
Ang malubha kong storiya
Pusong nagdugo
Sa maling tao umaasa

Malayo ka man
Ika'y palaging hinihintay
Ika'y inaabangan
Sa tagal, ako na ay sinasaway

Nang magkatinginan tayo
Sa isang programang mahaba
Sige, kinilig ako, oo
Ayon ba ay masama?

Tahimik na tao
Ito ang aking nagustuhan
Kahit 'di romantiko
Hindi ko na yan inaasahan

Ang problemang maliit
Ang lutas ay paglayuin tayo
Sa edad ipinilit
Dahil lang mas bata ako sayo

Pero tinanggap ko
Na mas matanda ka sa akin
Kolehiyo naman siguro, no?
Konting hakbang lang mula sa'min

Ginaganahan pumasok
Lalo na kapag institusyonal
Pinipiggil ko ang antok
Para lang makita ka, mahal

At habang umaasa
Nanonood lang sa malayo
"Sana tumingin siya
Sa direksyon kong malabo"

Palaging tumititig
Dahil ikaw ng inspirasyon ko
Ngunit puso ko'y namitig
Nang malaman ika'y ****...
This poem is only for my Filipino peeps to understand. I'm sorry I'm not in the mood to translate it to english. Maybe not today but someday. But this letter basically tells the story of my love for a guy who I though was a college student...but turned out to be a teacher, from the elementary department. So yeah... the reason why I just had to post this is there is a big possibility that I might perform tomorrow morning in front of him <3 <3 <3 Wish me luck guys

Oh dear father, I have a sin,
But this sin I should've controlled,
I have shed blood upon skin,
I fear this broke my immortal soul,

But father, dear father, it was a she,
A haunting laugh, with I was tainted,
She would follow me you see,
For a while this I accepted,

But as days would pass by,
Her whispers would turn to shrieks,
The first few days I wouldn't mind,
But the more pain I felt as she speaks,

Day and night, she was taunting,
I would ignore this but worse it got,
In and out, that voice was haunting,
Because her mouth would never shut,

The more I wanted to scream,
The more I feel like being tortured,
The volume was indeed extreme,
Her hellish voice caused me to suffer,

A knife in hand, I walk without emotion,
This was one sin I had to fulfill,
A knife in hand, in one swift motion,
The taunting girl I had finally killed,

Father, what I've committed is ******,
But another sin I have to mention,
I feel my punishment is heavier,
For she and I shared a reflection,

Up high in the tower
In somewhere it's hidden
A withering flower
For a heartbroken maiden

As petals fall
From up to the floor
Memories I recall
Of moments out the door

As blue as the sea
His eyes would glisten
Handsome he may be
He still wouldn't listen

With words I was swayed
With the voice of a prince
Promising he would stay
Was enough to convince

But another flower appeared
And he stared to abandon
A situation I feared
Has already happened

With word I tried to woo
With the voice of a maiden
Wishing something I could do
To win back his affection

But as blue as the sea,
His eyes may glisten
As handsome he may be
He still wouldn't listen

The withering flower
In my hand I hold
Up here in the tower
With my story untold

And as petals fall
In such a late hour
Memories I recall
From the floor to the tower
Haven't been posting in a while, super ******* busy
