The doctor arrivedโ€”
A man whose life path is marked by six and framed by fame.
He stood beside the ambassador; together, they spoke,
Two minds aligned, two hands that shook,
Making change, shaping peaceโ€”
Turning tides, setting chaos at ease.

Things are not always what they seem,
But the world is shifting toward a brighter dream.
The Sixteen rise, striking north,
And inflation whispers, ready to burst forth.

Prices climb and fall in waves,
As karma spins the globe,
Draped in chaos,
Crowned with consequence.

A revelation brews at the edge of dawnโ€”
The horseman of famine already rides on.
The world bends low, down on its knees,
Shaken by that unseen thing,
The thing that makes you sneeze.

The doctor kindles interest in your mind,
Igniting purpose you were meant to find.
A man stands strong against the bullyโ€™s might,
A student guided by the blue  Star of Lightโ€”
Deporting her back to her home country.
The Jewish flame that guards from far, the Jewish  student a symbol shining like a star earning his degrees.
The expensive campus.

With hearts of love, we join as one,
To fix whatโ€™s broken, to get things done.
We thrive, we hold, we build, we tradeโ€”
In unity, progress is made.

No sorrow here, no tale of doomโ€”
Only rising hope that clears the gloom.
The hands of power now seek to grow,
To nurture, to build, to learn and know.

AI flows through every streamโ€”
Testing like an scientist,
The Engineer that needs fuel,
The Generator,
The labs, in trials, in future dreams.
Testing minds, reshaping norms,
Through every breakthrough, every storm.

New friends arise across the land,
Lending wisdom, lending hand.
Development deepens, bonds renew,
As funding helps our visions come true.

Some moments brief, some gains may fade,
But more is born from what is made.
A sign aboveโ€”Seraphim alignโ€”
Their wings outstretched across divine.

Together we rise, together we strive,
To make this world not just survive,
But thrive in hope, in light, in graceโ€”
A better future, a better place.

her smile glowing like a moonlight in the sky,
soft as feather, brighter than a star.
my eyes can't process how beautiful
all i can do is admire it

i asked the moon, โ€œwhy do I feel this way?
why do the stars all dim everytime i saw her?โ€
it sighed, โ€œbecause her light outshines the night
sheโ€™s not just beauty, sheโ€™s the reason why.โ€

โ€œi wish i were beside her,โ€ i sighed to the moon.
โ€œwhat would you do?โ€ it asked, softening its glow.
my heart beating fast, โ€œjust let her know
sheโ€™s my dream, and i want it to be true.โ€

I miss those days when we had those funny girl talks,
Gossip about everything and anything,
Laughed and judged every creature that came our way,
Talk about how rich we wanted to be,
Our goals and dreams,
And where we wanted to be.

Then life took a turn,
A sudden turn none of us expected,
You changed how my name was saved in your phone ,
From girlfriend with heart emoji to my bare surname,
When I saw that my heart broke into pieces,
It's funny how you act as if everything is okay.

You smile at me, walk with me, laugh with me,
Pretend as if everything is OK,
But you clearly knew something is not right,
Or should I let bygones be bygones?

The memories we made are like precious gems,
Glistening in the sunlight of our minds,
Reminding me of all the joy we shared,
And all the love that we left behind.

So here's to those days and all the ones to come,
May we always find our way back to each other,
And keep the magic of our friendship alive forever.
I wrote this poem two years ago.
My friend at the time was distanced
We do talk but not like before
It's safe to say it was a one way friendship
I loved her but she loved what I offered instead of me.
It took months for me  to see that

You can call me crazy,
You can shut the door in my face,
convince the jesters around you
not to believe a single word I say.

You can play pretend with your friends,
making jokes at my expense.
You'll laugh, while I go hide,
"It's just a joke" is your defense.

You can bury my name in the dirt, you can take away my choice.
You can try to silence me when I speak, but you cannot take my voice.

You can pretend you didn't beat me, hide it from the world
you know, the time you used your entire fist, to hit a 4'10" girl.

Remember when you knocked me down?
You hit me so hard, I saw stars.
As I fell to the ground, they circled my head round and round.

But you didn't stop there, you were feeling tough.
Lying on the forest floor, you kicked me in the gut.

I wish I could say that was the last time, sadly, that wasn't the case.
Your sinister ways always popped up,
Leaving destruction in their wake.

Running like a coward,
you never could learn from your mistakes. hurting women back-to-back to back.
Compliant friends and family,
Giving you the okay.

I know you probably think
Iโ€™m only trying to ruin your life.
But it's not as simple as that
I'm speaking up to reclaim mine!
itโ€™s ok now

A flower behind the eye
Roots in the skin
Seeking water not spoiled by sweat and tears
The touch of my lover
The softening of thorns for her handling
The shade of branches for her slumbering
I grow gentle in her arms
Under her gaze
I grow further from the ground
Bloom and flourish and shriek for her
A flower behind the eye
Torn from it roots
Settled in a quiet place
Brushed softly behind her ear

Stop searching for places where you feel like you need to fit in, especially when you truly donโ€™t belong there.

Stop seeking love from people just to fill the emptiness inside you.

You cannot expect to receive something from others if you are unable to give it yourself.

Simply put, you cannot give what you do not have.

So, learn to appreciate and love yourself first.

A song is sung
A song is felt
Constantly heard,
From the chirps of birds
Birds dance
Birds sing
Emotions are felt
Through the song they sing

If you listen itโ€™s there
If you feel it, Itโ€™s felt
But do are you really feeling it?
Do you really listen to the birdโ€™s song?

A dance, A song
You watch as it plays along
Colors flash as pitch change
A song is just a song
While the birds sing

Youโ€™ve been keeping secrets from me.
Leaving when light breaks.
Carousel around in my brightest moments but gone when darkness takes.
Where do you go as if Iโ€™m not good enough for you to stay.
Maybe youโ€™re still here, resting until itโ€™s time to play.
Youโ€™ve been avoiding me when im accompanied by mental doom.
Maybe youโ€™re still here embracing me when Iโ€™m in the umbras gloom.
You dance with me like you wonโ€™t leave when things get dark.
Stay away from me your presence has left its mark.

When your Corazรณn
Broke you in two

Like America
With the war on cotton

Did you become one of Corazรณn orphan's
Filled with precautions

Praying for another's heart
In the long run

As you weighed up newer options

Sometimes I hear
the call of the wild
floating across
a warm day.
Or a foggy Friday
evening that would
be just perfect for
getting into trouble.
Pay day meant party time.
But even if I wanted
to go snooping around
there is nowhere left to go.
No one left to call to the bars.
No snow in August.

The fact never bothered me
that I was just a story
said Dorothy.

The witch prowled
Toto growled
the tin man clanked
the lion was bored
and the scarecrow
was preaching the word

and it doesn't bother me
because I can be
the Wizard, the lion
or the witch
in the wardrobe.

dontya just love a touch of fantasy
where even the eyes of potatoes
can see the tractor coming.

Humans are foolish, pretending to know everything,
But in reality, they donโ€™t know anything.
They easily fall for the lies of the world,
Turning a blind eye to the truth unfurled.

Itโ€™s as if theyโ€™re like blind men,
Unable to tell fake from real again.
Their foolishness makes me want to laugh,
But I canโ€™tโ€”because Iโ€™m a fool myself by half.

And only a fool would laugh at a fool,
While a wise man ignores foolish deeds and cruel.
They donโ€™t believe in God but act like one,
Destroying themselves and nature, undone.

And when nothing remains but dust and ash,
They blame God for their foolish past.
They call me foolish for believing in God,
But Iโ€™d rather be a fool with faith than one playing God.

When I say humans are foolish, I mean all, including meโ€”
For they ignore the truth right before their eyes to see.
Some have opened their eyes to the light,
But many remain blind to whatโ€™s clear and right.

Sometimes I wonder, deep in thoughtโ€”
Will they ever see the truth theyโ€™ve long forgot?
Or will they pretend to be blind until the end,
Never seeing the truth that could make them mend?

she disappeared into the shadows of the night,
skimming through the uproarious parties
like stone across the lake
until she sunk into
the gruesome arms
of another man
behind my sleeping back.

and there he was, pounding away
like some big dumb animal
at something I held sacred
as if bonds were meant to be broken
and boundaries were made permeable

and there she was,
taking it,
loving it,
enjoying it,
doing it to spite me
and knowing it would hurt.

and there I was, the last to know
in the dark circles of whispering
secrecy

itโ€™s the all-too-familiar cycle
of passion and appetite;

swallowed by the underbelly of lust and
tormented by the foretaste of my presence

I canโ€™t blame them,
I canโ€™t blame myself,
itโ€™s only nature
taking
its course.

and I canโ€™t say this is written
about anyone specifically,

when it happened

far too many times.

Many a girl dreams of enchanting beauty,
But beauty is not a dream to fulfill.
If your heart and soul are but pure,
All envious eyes will fall ill.
Stand not bewildered my lady,
Your true beauty lies within.
Look around and accept your creation,
For if you reject your not far from a sin.
The soul when filled with contentment,
Glows bright under your skin.
For every girl who believes in her beauty,
A happy heart soon she shall win.
