into my bleak early Spring
this mist of sticky juice
my normally clogged nose
inundated with bold proof
of   lurid promises
from citrus groves
bathed by sunlight
on a foreign soil
while my entire body
sanguinely sings
your praises
and my fingers
continue to peel
away until every morsel
is revealed
and devoured
I bought a bag of  blood oranges the other week, and every other day I eat one with my fiancée. The smell and texture is divine.

I'd like to be alone,
but I don't want to be lonely.

I'd like to be in hope,
but I don't want to be hopeless.

I'd like to be in love,
but I don't want to be broken.

I'd like to be sad,
but I don't want to be weak.
For when I'd like to be 'me', but I don't want to be 'her'.

Crowded yet alone.
Searching for a place called home,
Forever to roam.
Ever feel like you just don't belong?

She Writes
Ink floods these pages
Words cause more harm than good
Opening up old wounds
decipher feelings misunderstood

Reminiscing lost love
Analyzing mistakes made
Drowning in past feelings
Remembering all who betrayed

Putting pen to paper
Is my way to cope
Anger, lust, sadness, anxiety
Depression; a slippery *****

I must continue to write
To tear down these walls
Work through my issues
Before death I befall

An innocent scratch to ease the pain.
A skipped meal to ensure you dont gain.
A wasted day laying in bed.
Your left wondering what demons live inside your head.
You hate yourself and the mirror brings tears.
You look into the mirror & all you see is a overweight, bloated, and extremely out of shape girl. You're ugly, your worthless, is all the brain hears. You tell yourself, that no one can fix you.
This is the torture of Mental Health.

my notes on you
 Mar 2018 Hannah
every second with you near is a catastrophe
and you don't seem to know what you do to me

and they say your smile is serene but you don't smile at me
you haven't smiled in weeks

i try twice and thrice and again to be good company
but you look through me as i speak

your affection seems like a foolish thing to seek
but heaven is empty and love is juvenile, you see

Sitting alone
I contemplate truth
I wonder if you know
I think it’s you

Forgive me
Or don’t
Forget me
You won’t

I have lost all my friends
Now it’s just the three of us
All alone
Inside my head

It is holi
Burn the ego
Let all the things go
With the feelings sweet
Sing  chorus tap our feet
The color  which is fast
Takes a lifetime to last
The color that is true
Red yellow or blue
Color me the way
On this holi day
Happy holi!
Happy holi all
A festival of and to burn the evils

Stackable living
  hackable lives

On top of each other
  like bees in a hive

Inside a box
  hard corners to know

A neighbor above
  a neighbor below

Stackable moments
  fractional lies

The walls serve two masters
  invasion implied

All differences measured
  in bedrooms and floors

A blueprinted nightmare
  its maze underscored

Stackable meaning
  the truth wearing thin

Its elevator stuck
  stairs covered in sin

The higher you climb
  the farther you fall

Stackable living
—the death of us all
