Like a stab in the heart
it leaves you bleeding.
You fade into the night.

The killer walks away,
wiping the excess love
from their hands.

You let them in.
Their shadow remains
but the love that was once there
has vanished.

You swear to yourself
that you will never again
be so vulnerable.
So stupid.

Like the words of a catchy song,
they are forever imprinted
on your brain.
Their scent,
the way they smiled,
the way they whispered, I love you.

Hello / goodbye
bent on / goodnight
Can't sleep / just cry
My dreams / I die
Don't live / survive
Im losing / the fight
Demons / unite
Take over / my mind
Can't see / I'm blind.
Get in / and drive
Away / behind
we're out / of time
People / they try
They ask / I lie
They hear / they buy
While I / stand by
And whisper / **"I'm fine"

Lunar
you said that
you love it when it rains.
little did you know that
it rains
whenever i shed a tear.
maybe that's why
you seem happy
even if i'm hurt;
you enjoy
whenever i cry.
and i'll always end up
exchanging your sorrow
for my euphoria,
in hopes of you
loving the rain—
me, my tears, and my pain.
(j.m.)
why?
why did you leave,
when I needed you
more than ever?

how?
how did we become strangers,
when just yesterday we said
we would be running away
from the world together?

when?
when did you decide,
that I wasn't good enough
to help and fix you
like I always used to?

what?
what did I do wrong,
that made you want to leave
and forget me the day after?

where?
where did you go,
after you left me and
why was it more
important than I?

who?
who did you give my heart to,
after you stole it and ran
with nothing but broken tears?

why?*
why did you leave me,
with almost no explanation at all
and why did I ever think
we would truly be forever?

(P.A)
I kept on questioning my whole point of life since then...

We take things for granted.
Everyone tries to appreciate things more.
Money, life, family.
But what about the simple beauty of a sunset?
The sun is appreciated when it arrives
after the rain is laid on the earth.
Yet,
no one ever says thank you for a beautiful sunset.
The soft colors all melting into each other.
The sun has gifted us another day,
but you do not thank it at the end.
Next time you are watching the sunset--
on the beach,
in the office,
from your kitchen window.
Do not be sad because the day
has come to an end.
Just whisper thank you.
These basic words
hold a world of meaning.
Thank the sun for setting.
Do not take it for granted,
for one day,
it will all be gone.
Thank the sunset.
I painted you wonderlands of sorry
I flew over mountains of pain
And I swam in the coldest part of regret
But none of it
Made you
Forgive
Me

Insufflate her, let her **** the pain
Let her rearrange your mind
Let her fly inside your veins
letters are just a medium
for what I can't explain
the soft at first, but lasting hurt
of cuddling with flames
It doesn't matter
nothing does but her
let her be your world
let her even be the sciences
behind her tilt and swirl
let her change you
let her help you stay the same
stay the same
let her **** you
let her smile and float away
float away.
ILL
You said
The most brilliant thing
You said it was
Like a heart surgery
But he was only a
Surgeon in training
And had neglected to
Mention beforehand
That it was only
Exploratory cardiac surgery;
And it was just for his
Simmering curiosity
(He couldn't have carried
Out a simple angioplasty?)

That he cut the aorta
That's what you said
And his curiosity subsided;
And he left as you bled.
Someone I know used a brilliant metaphor the other day.
