A slight draw
With jawbones peaked

Another day revealed

Revealed to be cold
And cold with cold
On this mountaintop

Yet no wind remains
To appeal to me

I will not yield
Cold With Cold
Mr Morningstar Nov 2018
From our lips springs forth an energy,
We were to be an eternity in an instant
A forever moment in the blink of an eye
We fought it, and the battle was long
But the chaos consumed us
And emotions swept us away like a hurricane
The universe looked at us and understood our need for one another
You were broken, the world had made you feel isolated and cold
I burned with the fire of a thousand suns and so fate brought you to me
I reminded you what it was to love again,
And you showed me why I shouldn't be afraid to love
But the storm has calmed
It left behind broken hearts
And immortal memories
I'll love you forever in a way
Just not the way we thought on those late nights we spent together under the blanket ******, laughing like fools
Staring like star struck teenagers into each other's eyes with a longing tragedies are written about
I'll miss you
I wouldn't take back a single second.
So cheers to the future my darling may we both find happiness in the lessons we taught each other.

The trees, stewsters in the Grey
On Somber window.

He walked along my path.
He wasn't expected.
A variable I had never calculated.
His heavy, confident footsteps shifted the sands of my mind
And I find that not everything makes sense anymore.
I'm always covered in blood.
Sometimes it's mine. Sometimes it's not.
But he makes me feel alright about it.
All the time.

He stood in my way.
I had seen him around before.
I had never thought to speak to him, until then.
His precise, light footsteps left a mark in the mud of my mind
And I'm left surprised, shocked, uncomprehending.
He's always covered in blood.
He concerns me, scares me,
But he has a twinkle about him that leaves me wanting more.
And so I took it.

I want to wake up in the morning and have it gone.
I want to wake up slip my clothes on without feeling your hands tangled around me
Brush my hair without having to swat away the prints pressuring around my hips

If I could
I'll burn this vessel

Give me a lobotomy
I'm ready to risk it all for it to be gone.

I dream about what my world would be like if it never happened.
If your midnight hovering never came.
If the shame never quaked my legs and suffocated my peace.

But still every night I go to bed with wishful thoughts
hopeful that it'll be gone in the morning
and wake up in disappointment when the feeling returns

If I was a love poet
I'd say I love you the
same way a smartphone
loves wi-fi;

Able to work without
you, but only fully
functional when I'm
with you.
I saw her standing there.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I saw her standing there.
She looked at me and I  Well I could then see
An Angel in the guise of a pure Madonna
Well that’s when I told her my wife she’d be
Having learned to live alone I was for her.
Every day for weeks I begged her to be free
Rich poetry I gave not taking no for an answer
So many weeks of calls she’s was wise see
The way I looked was way beyond compare
And she would never look at any another
Not since she saw me standing there.
Did I say that we lived many miles apart ?
I at the time had no place of fine abode
No rooms to call my own to impress her so
God knows , I must  to put my act together
The solution was a nice sea view apartment
Having made the nest she put me to the test
Empowering me to be her true n faithful lover
Reciting poetry I found my life it turned around
Each time I saw my darling standing there.
