Amphorae, beautifully crafted,
Delicate, exquisite, fire-glazed,
Heated in jumbo kilns,
Lovely molded necks,
Opaque pigments,
Quartzite residue-
Symbolic, timeless, utilitarian
Valued- with xanthic yellow zirconium

Time is a construct of
       passing frailties,
We cling to them more so for comfort.


Not realising that we're already
                an echo just rebounding off
the moments that have conceded
to a  passing that is bigger than us.

But still we live for those mere seconds,
                                                 for meaning.

And to show that even though we were
                         just a flicker,


                     we burnt brighter than a star.

You are a soul,
Born inside a body.
You are more than
A clump of atoms.

You are precious
And valued by God,
Not a careless piece
Of his creation.

You are a whole world
In and of yourself.
Let your personality shine
In God's magnifying presence.

You belong with your creator.
Allow him to show you that.
He is ready to bring you close.
You were born to be with him forever.

If you forget to realize your God's master, you'll settle for being someone's side piece.

C'mon silly
How can a hollow man do that?

An intricate pattern,
Makes something feel soo valued,
Makes it soo unique,
Different.
So look at your reflection,
Your "flaws",
And look at how intricate the pattern is.
How unique it is.
How different it is.
Learn to love the way it is.
