She is but stardust

written across the skies

of haze and wanderlust

with wayfarer soul eyes.

Like ultraviolet rays,

she cannot be seen,

she reaches in waves

shinning in dark scenes.

Wish upon her,

this shooting star;

gaze upon her,

a celestial bell jar.

Do you recall being stardust?
I don’t.
But, that’s what they say.
Elements forged in fusion’s crucible;
atoms born in the hearts of stars.
Do you recall being a comet’s tail?
Do you recall a time in space?
I don’t,
but then, it’s been a while.
Do you recall the lakes and streams;
swimming as fish,
or being water?
Do you recall the plains
when we roamed as beasts,
great and small?
Were you an antelope, a butterfly, a bird?
Were you a flower?
Were you Cleopatra?
Was I…Anthony, or just
some tea in Cleopatra’s cup?
(Did Cleopatra even drink tea?
I don’t know.)
Do you recall when you said
you loved me?
I do.
They told me,
“don’t fall in love with stardust.”
But then, what choice did I have?
we are all star dust.

We are like stars,
Distant and dying.
The wind, how it howls,
Dancing and crying.

For we now exist,
And scream in the rain,
Only to find,
We have faded again.

Years have now passed,
Timeless and more.
Our stories have passed,
Into fictional lore.

And at last we can cease,
Our light falls away.
And although our souls leave,
Our stardust will stay.

When I die,
grind my dry bones into dust,
sift the stardust from the ashes,
and throw my ashes to the sea so that I may become one with the rain and touch all the places I never got to see...
this is my death wish

Stardust is such a beautiful thing
Its shiny like silver yet worth more than gold
Yet it is noting that you can hold
Its warmer than fire
And colder than ice
Taller than mountains
Smaller than rice
It is nothing yet at the same time everything
Its you as you are to me
And the world as it is to us
It's smiles and laughter and darkness and pain
It's kisses on Sunday right after rain
And among it all the good and the bad
Stardust is here everywhere to be had

They say that we are made of stardust,
Sixteen billion years of history and beauty.
Our atoms have arrived here from the far reaches of a distant universe,
Of a place that I will never know.
When I die, maybe I'm not saying a last farewell.
Maybe I'm going home

We are stars wrapped in skin,
a universe in ecstatic motion
that has a heart pulsating
like a supernova
and eyes made of stardust
that shines bright in the darkness.
Thoughts like candlelights,
flickering on and off.

So protect your light,
protect your flame
from the ice of others.

Let it burn,
let it burn brighter
Let it burn,
from within till it’s out.
Let your light shine,
whatever form it maybe.

my nerves are full of fire
but my hands are paralyzed.
my imagination is transforming into shapes
that do not exist yet,
but it is locked behind my eyes,
refusing to be exteriorised.
my feelings colour my heart,
pumping stardust in my blood,
making my whole existence
go mad.
yet,
I'm emotionless.

oh, what a tragedy for the writings.
