Petals flutter softly in the fresh spring breeze
The melancholy sky will soon take a leave

They fall to the ground with such grace and poise
As if trying not to offend the air with any noise

Floral landscapes emerge filling the previously deceased ground
Bringing back life to the earth without even a sound

Blooming into existence for the gazing wanderer to admire
Filling children’s hearts with cheer and desire

It’s no wonder a passerby might feel heightened emotions
Gazing into the cyan hue of a blossom resembling the oceans

Inducing a spike of those happy neurotransmitters
Encouraging contentedness in everyone, even tiny critters

Photons trickle down after descending from the core of the sun
Nuclear fusion is a wonderful thing that is done

Showering our bodies with warmth as we expose our skin
Deep within our star is where it begins

Let photosynthesis bring forth nature’s charm and appeal
As foliage dines on their favorite meal

Sustaining a planet and allowing it to thrive
This season makes me feel truly alive

Do you think it hurts,
When fresh buds burst from dark earth?
What beautiful pain.
The Pain of New Life - part one

You're not here, but I see you.
You're not here, but I feel you.
You're not here, but I breathe you.
I smell you in the spring flowers on the side of the road.
When walking down the street
I see you in my dreams,
H a u n t i n g me.
I need you, but you're not here.
I'm just hoping & wishing that you breathe me too.

Two lips
months ago intertwined
after the ball dropped
the kiss seemed merely transient
at least, to the laughter around
the couch hugged us and breathed forever
each new day reminded me of New Year's
three months don't seem too long, after three years
except for when every "now", "serious" and "care" can wink
at me infinity, your words spinning around like
our lips that night, and the next
and the next; now I only
know for certain what I
can see, waiting
like May's
tulips

Spring is here
The world begins again
A new season of adventures
Without buzzing night lights

She opened her eyes
Dimmed lights shivered
A gentle touch awakes her
A touch of love
He was right there
In front of her

I found you
That light I love
You found me
Ever so near

They took flight
Side by side
In love, no less
Only beautiful bright lives living
A destiny broken
Because of their will
To find that love
They held so dear

They do not know
What is to come
But now it's clear
This chance, here and now

There is always hope
In the fights of our lives
Once we've conquered
We will break what they call
'Our destiny'
Then that will make us

....springtime fireflies.
It was said that fireflies die after summer ends due to weather conditions. But it was also said that, if a firefly survives till spring, it would be because they had the will to live for something special.
Your destiny is in your own hands.

As spring has now began to come,
   one moment not too soon;
As april showers fall in May,
   fresh flowers start to bloom;

The springtime breeze begins to blow,
   the scent of fresh cut grass;
The sunbeams seem more bright somehow,
   as winter's gloom now pass!

The browns fade out to brighter greens,
   birds chirping in the air;
This springtime glee's the only thing,
   I'd dare your love compare!

Without God's touch you'd  never find
  true happiness with me;
Yet blessed by Him with nature's touch
such joy and love you'll see!

We both were formed by God above,
   not made by mortal man;
The love we share, not made by us,
'twas formed by God's Own Hand!

Time is running out
The clock is ticking fast
Tick tick tick
A time bomb waiting to implode
I’m just buying time
Until the hour glass has dropped its last grain of sand
No more turning it right side up and starting all over again
I don’t know how to fake it anymore
Pretend when the seasons change that she’s not on your mind
It’s spring again
The mania has returned
And I won’t stay this time
I won’t wait for the fall to come
For you to realize once again that you’ve made a mistake
Just when I think it’s over, you pull the box out again
I’ve tried to bolt it shut
I kept the key around my neck
You snuck in last night and stole it
When I woke up it was all over the floor
A picture of her flutters down
You pick it up and speak to her
You lie and say nothing was said
It’s just a secret between you and yourself
And you think if you only speak to her in your mind that it will stay that way
I’ve tried to Cauterize the wounds but you open them again and again
Leaving bigger scars than the time before
You look at me and say it’s done
Your secrets still on your breath
No matter what I do she’ll always be there
Right behind me
Breathing down my neck

Day Mar 2016
blue breezes and trees sway,
wind blows every care away.
cold twisting and turning to warm,
birds and bees begin to swarm.
never overwhelmed, just busy,
and playing until you're dizzy.
girls and boys will do no good
would play all day if they could.
sniffles and sneezes, a minor pain
who cares, now that winter is slain?
we cheer and shout that winter is done,
the frozen battle has been won.
victors are Warmth and Sunshine.
Summer and Winter intertwine,
bringing forth something...new,
all for the pleasure of me and you.
I'm embracing the Spring spirit. It's just been a good few days and I'm happy. Just want to share my happiness with you all!! Enjoy!!
