Innocent smiles, and accidental intentional glances
Keeps me wide-awake yet woolgathering
Stargazing about the fairytale I live in
Would you care to inaugurate yourself?

I believe I observed the crumbled papers
Mystical notes between your slender fingers
I wonder what enigma they contain
Would you care to say something?

Charming blushes occupies your cheeks
Yet your play of ignorance is entertaining
What are you thinking of?
Would you care to share it?

Hello there
Miss Stranger
I'd like to know your name
Of course, this might seem rather strange
I'm afraid all we've had were passing smiles
And slight conversation
Friendly waves
and sideways glances-
from two seats away
Please forgive me for staring
You just caught my interest
A shy girl taking classes out of her league
And passing them as if it was simple elementary
I just had to know more
So I waved for the first time
And you waved in return
And thus, we were acquaintances

Hi there
Miss Stranger
All across the way
I enjoy the smiles we pass everyday
In class
The hallway rush
I wonder why I enjoy it so much
We've rarely spoken small talk
Much less what we believe in
So why does a smile from you give me such a happy feeling?
This isn't love
I've made that mistake before
Maybe you seem nice and I wish to know more
Oh dear, this may seem a bit much
I assure you I'm not after affection or lust
Just a smile
And your name
If it's all the same.

Hey there
Miss Stranger
Wasn't it such a lovely day?
It was the day
I finally got the nerve to say
That I'd like to be friends with you
After days of finding the words
and the courage
I finally approached
Defying every insecurity and doubt
For talking to strangers can be rather difficult
And even if you said no
I would be proud of myself for trying
To my pleasant surprise
You were delighted to!
It's always exciting to gain a new friend
For adventures and memories beckon as soon as they are created
It was a pity it was such short lived
For not even days after
We returned to our routine
Of smiles and waves
On an endless repeat
How did this happen?
Was it something I said?
Without warning
We slowly faded back
Into the strange stage of strangers
I guess I shouldn't complain
Could've been a lot worse
Though every possibility our "friendship" had
Faded away right along with your desire to know me
So it seemed

Oh, well
I suppose I should've seen it coming

Take care
Miss Stranger
And thank you anyway
I'll always be here to smile
When we pass everyday
Wow, never thought I would see this poem again.
Mostly because it's a mess. Some parts rhyme, some don't, and others don't seem to fit! Gah! Oh, well. Posting it, anyway.
I wrote this last year when I was rather lonely, for I was going through a difficult time. The girl was kind, and though we never really became close (or friends, for that matter) I am still happy to help her in anyway I can.
C'est la vie.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, it means the sea to me.
Have a wonderful day, wherever you are.

Take care.

I am a shy girl
Age 17
Who has her nose in a book
Because society doesn't accept her
Her friends are not her friends
Since they are so calm to dump her
No one seems to care for the girl
Who has her face in a book
To hide the tears
From the unspoken words
She always hears
I am a shy girl
Age 17
Who writes poems
That no one sees
Since she hides them so perfectly
She cries reading them
As she sees how her life has been
From friends who dump her To unseen and unheard tears
To unspoken words
From the girl
A shy girl
Who is age 17
I am choking, on the things left unsaid;
I am drowning, in their dread.

Smothered by the weight of my own tongue;
Coating my larynx, begging to be wrung.

My breath, stifled by unwritten letters draining into my esophagus;
Strangled words, using my body as their sarcophagus.

That one day, when I'm stronger, I'll find the courage to excavate.
Until then, I'll slowly ,**asphyxiate.

She is a true blue living legend
displaying  many colors of love
there is no doubt about it,if only
you know where to look at.
But wait,in the way she expresses it
everything  would get reversed!
if one concludes she is demure,
think twice before deciding.
She did invent a new tongue
entirely of monosyllables!
write it in high  hieroglyphics
none could ever aspire to decipher.
Don't forget to take this fact in to account
in bed, she is a whirlwind
unlike  most Indian brides,
who wear shyness as an armour
tradition prescribes for brides.

The Grace in her Smile... Let you feel the shyness melting in you...
The Gentleness in her eyes.... Keeps you wondering when she will hug you!...
The Voice tells you a story of Mystery!
Steeling those looks to look through her eyes...
Moving between faces to meet her face and give that smile...
She is the Fountain of feelings that you long for!
She is simply a true soul!

Oh oh, keep it on the low
You're still in love with me
But your friends don't know

If you wanted me you would just say so

If I were you I'd never let me go
Quoted

I'm not really sure how to go about this
For the most part I'm too shy to break ice
Too despondent at times to maintain friends
Unfortunately I **** at expanding my inner circle at a time when
I need someone to talk to.

People go out there and do it like it's easy
And I don't get that
It isn't that I hate people
It's just that sometimes I have a hard time getting up every day and doing that
And that's something I don't understand sometimes
How can people do that?

I pick up words
as small daisies
on a spring field

careful to hold them
in small bunches
never as beautiful

as when first spotted
a memory of wonder
blushing as they close

around their meaning
covering the heart
shy of a truth near

enough for our dull spirit

to remember a note
or two
