I was travelling
in part by the river,
in part by the sea.

The body, a sumptous villain, has parted me,
or perhaps it was me who has detached.
I don't know. I have no taste of good and bad anymore.

But it doesn't matter. It has happened,
we are not the same. We never were.
We have been keeping together only out of fear.

The most important thing is
that I have made my decision: I will stay strong.
It will be hard to go through it all alone. I know.
But the light has to be sheltered
from the slightest gust of air.
Nothing else matters.

Once upon a time, I willed myself to dream
that you'd care if I wore my heart on my sleeve. Ever since, I have.
But not for you.
I do it for me.

The evening sky
especially beautiful -
Sun rays bursting
through cloudy skies
And still, it was
barely suitable
to reflect from
the bluest eyes
My baby

Time. Death. Faith. Hope.
Sometimes, the things we can't see make the biggest impact on the things we do.

These words that have pull and plunge your being into an intense trip. Watch the words, fly off the page and take you through time faster than any Uber or Lyft.
For this neat little trick, we employ the words that grip.
The ones that squeeze and then some that suddenly hold until the reader drips. Fill their bottle with a cuffing concoction, with every verse, they'll take a sip!
Descovia joined forces with Alma/Rota to deliver a compelling masterpiece for genius minds!

Things don't matter until they do.
I learned that the day I lost you.

My clothes
My body
My identity
These are not reflections of me
They're extensions of me

I know. I've been holding on
to things I should let go of.
Lost memories. Lost life. Lost love.
But, as scary and painful as it can be
being lost in the past, knowing how evanescent the mind can be, a future without them somehow seems worse.

Someday, you may lose your faith.
You may lose your way.
But, once you understand
it's not your fault if that happens,
you can find new things
to have faith in.
