Please.
Even here; even now
as I paint a board that may yet end up scrapped
Remind me softly,
Surely,
I am here for more than passing through.
Someday does not exist in some
Tantalizing intangible form.
Even here; even now, it is in the making.
Now, with every beating heart
Conquering every shaking hand
Even here; even now
as I rest while my paint is drying.
Trying out an acrostic form
Toss me a coffee and a word and I'll write you a poem <3

You were created in this world
you ruptured yourself into the world
and caught on fire as you grew older
that crafted you into what you are
and what you will become.

now here's a place
i have never been
looking over the edge
seeing if i can see the bottom
dropping a pebble
to hear
the end

i don't think there is one
least-ways
i didn't hear it land
i don't want to fall down this
rabbit hole
but
the eyes staring out
from the darkness
are so...
like i know who they are

and i want to see
just how far down
i will fall
and if they will watch me
as i let go

here is a place
i have never been
so long have i lived
in the sunshine
my skin is paper thin
and the weight of my world
crushes the air from my lungs
makes me breathe out
with no hope of breathing in

here is a place
i have never been
i have no memory
of falling
tipping over the edge
i just know there is no sunshine
and my soul is struggling
to keep warm
Ever the optimist, glass is half full. I find i am falling. but also hoping i can find my way back before hitting the bottom.  taking care of myself for a little while. :)

you cannot water their garden
for you have your own to care for.
there are far too many flowers
and not enough water
between the two
for you to water both.
you must
keep your own garden
alive
and allow the other person
to fetch their own water
and provide for their garden
for if you attempt
to water both
both gardens will suffer.
you cannot fix people no matter how hard you try. the only person you can fix is yourself.

in the midst
of it all
despite the
foundation
being of
toxic ground

a flower
found its way
to bloom
after plentiful
struggles

i am
that flower

No one can save

The one
Drowned
Within
The thoughts
Genre: Micro Verse

Author's Note: Save me from myself

Consecutively eating one meal a day,
despite the knowledge of the physical attributes that come with doing so.
The endless weekend black outs and bathroom floor surrenders.
The sleepless nights lurking for company.
The overwhelming guilt in attempts to start over again.
The three hour long anxiety attacks that cease to subside.
You realize you haven't taken care of yourself;
that numb became such an acceptable state of being.
Found this old gem from a darker time.
Revisiting these words.

Less time to self.
We may be in a company where nonsense is entertained, nonsense is validated.
Let there be time when one could say I don't live my life to please others and I know me better that someone close to me, but this doesn't mean to be self obsessed as we are an independent vessels yet we are intertwined with others responsibly.
Invest more time with self so that one could know oneself better. Here we may meet people who know other more than they know themself. Once you identify who you are, you begin to separate yourself from the crowd, not concerned what other's opinion is, and will begin to see your authenticity being thankful that you are not alike. You will be comfortable and will keep moving forward.

What if
For just a moment in time
We pressed pause on the world passing by
Silencing the inner mumblings that tell us all these lies
And actually forgive ourselves for once in our lives

You know all that weight we carry around
The kind that causes us to be confined in our mind
Couldn't we just hold it in our palms
And let the wind sweep it to oblivion
So that we're no longer haunted by the sound

Quieting our personal qualms
We can then make space in our hearts to accept actual love
The kind we once thought we didn't deserve
We need a whole lot more, from what I've observed

We can pause our own world
In this moment make the conscious choice
To allow the heaviness to sink
The ongoing commotion to fade
To a dull white noise with little voice

With a deep breath in
Then let it all go

None of it matters when you put it in perspective
We're only human and that's all we can be
The only ones that hold our own key
Right now it's our critical objective
To set our minds free
