If you ask me, he lit the match that set the Moon on fire
It’s not a myth; I was there, when I had no home
And I walked in Saturn’s ring rain for so long it sloughed off my skin
I marched, trying to flatten the crater I’d made
Because I was ashamed of it
I was the last meteor to hit his heart; the loudest
But that was so long ago
The quietest revolutions are usually the most violent
If you ask him, I smelled like Genesis and Revelation from the inside
******* insatiable
I slathered honey on my cheeks and boiled my blood
so hot until my arteries turned charred black
I licked my wounds from the impact and discovered just what the hell was poisoning me

If you ask me, I didn’t know him last night and I won’t know him on the last night
But my God, he inspires me

I know i'm not in your
a t m o s p h e r e
and I fear
that our connection
won't be
v e r y  c l e a r

The words I speak will be
muffled with s t a t i c
I'll wait for you in the a t t i c
with
my
t e l e s c o p e

I know
I know
I  k n o w

I won't see you in f o r e v e r

I hope
I hope
I  h o p e

You'll be a star that does more than
g l i m m e r

But my vision is growing
d i m m e r

And the chances are growing
s l i m m e r

As the stars

Here's more of the Saturn song that I posted which people seemed to like. Which beckons the question, do you want to hear the song? I have no issues posting it to youtube. I might do that even if no one responds.

Saturn is really nice this time of year
I think you should check out its rings.
And maybe you could get a call back to me
sometime next spring?

I'll see you next spring.

legs crossed

sitting silent

staring down

earth spins

it’s as if I grow taller
as the sun grows colder
as the world stops for a second
as I fall in
Over Dec 2018
I am orbiting Saturn
Bathing in an unholy calm
Digesting the universal justice
Finding peace in my untimely demise
I drift in the ocean of void
A worm hole ******* the time out of my soul
The black lotus of the world unfolds
Everything happening before hasn't happened before
Relatively nothing means anything anymore

oh, saturn
won’t you loosen up
and let your worries go?

how he thrives,
on the pain and power
of those weaker

the balance lost,
and the love was gone
like a bittersweet symphony

i swore it was love,
but the pure agony
was sorrowful poetry

still he said, “venus,
won’t you give me all
and every piece of you?”

but i refused,
because who would i be
if i forgot the essence of me?
venus and saturn; how she loved him unconditionally

The solar system that keeps us in its grasp,
shall never let us go or allow us to meet the past.
I watch through the windows and look to the sky.
But between memories of stars that night collects,
And of gloom that hides in moons;
I have yet to find Saturn whose gases weigh more than my worth,
and dress with diviner rings that I could bear.

But Saturn,
I fear that one day my search for you will end
without us meeting and having a nonsensical conversation.
"How have you come to a place like this?
Your state, your existence, how can it be?
Would you like some tea?
No? That's fine,
everything is perfectly fine with you."

Saturn,
I have watch that moon and seen those stars shine through darkness.
It has been lonely but I now wish for you to be reflected in my eyes,
I promise,
I swear,
I give honor on my words,
I will not let you leave my sight.
Let me find my place in the universe,
one where I can see you.
