Besotted by an ardor,
Beseeching for its vanishing color.
Today I've no words!
Tomorrow I see you, the day after it rains.
No day passes without our idyll,
Once again summer,
jelly and butter.
With me you're unbridled,
With you I'm at home,
You enervate my sadness,
Eviscerate my fear,
Our long silences paints bliss in evening ours,
You search in me for that deluge of love,
Skin and skin sears doubt, closer and closer,
Lost are we in ourselves amidst lust.
Soon, why so soon should you leave?
Your eyes brimmed with tears,
Cheeks crimson smear,
Lilly of the valley redolent in your hair,
My words; did they fall in your ears?
You're far, beyond oceans,
Arid deserts,
Edifying concrete!
I'm here, singing, singing
Awaiting for winter...

Pampering myself with the scent of the old ink,
The sound produced by the pen suddenly turns into a melody,
Letters collided and produced words,
Which indulged me as I turn them into metaphors

I started to define the curves of his lips,
How his tears flow down as he begins to bleed,
The way he laugh and make hearts skip a beat,
His anger and sorrow that turns up the heat

As I put the little details of him in each verses,
He began to learn how to use a pen and a paper,
Created a prose which contains lines,
Another being he is starting to define

A lady with long curly hair,
Fiery eyes which can easily tame,
Rosy cheeks and curvy lips,
He started to depict beauty― his poetry which isn't me
when will i ever be someone's poetry?

It's another wintry night
and a moment ago,
I was dreaming
catching snowflakes
with you...
The dream is over now,
There are no more
cabins
and pine trees - of the North
but the Night,
is still cold
and somehow
I am still
feeling your warmth...

The local convenience store dealers lean on glass windows with ****** pupils scanning the parking lot for any takers. I pump my gas on station four and spy from afar. Don’t make eye contact or that means you’re interested. No buyers yet. What do you suppose is on the menu for today? Judging from the amount of zombies I’ve seen pushing stolen shopping carts a block away from here, I’d say smack. Tar. Black. ******. Whatever they call it where you’re from. Welfare bodies withered down to just flesh hanging from bone, wandering around aimlessly for their next fix. I’ve only ever tried it once; I was curious and sad and it was there—in Violet’s hand and then in my lungs. Do you think my mother would cry out in those disgusting sobs of snot and heaves of not-being-able-to-breathe-tears if she knew? Do you think my sister would look at me with that glare of judgmental disapproval because yet again, here’s an example of why I’m the family ****-up? Do you think my father would smack me upside the head and call me a *******? Probably. And do you think my third and sixth grade teachers who told me I should one day do something with my writing would be gasping in disappointment? Definitely. The gas pump clicks off. A potential customer staggers across asphalt to meet his makers and I am no better than he is at this very moment.
A lesson in prose poems.

i would dip kisses on your freckled back, as though it were an arched door of a baroque cathedral. i would strain my arms cradling the frailty of your sadness. i would weave to my lips your whispers, made of cold and lonely december rust. i would dust my bones and flesh, and i would lie there next to you — a clean slate, in silence and awe and uninhibited longing. my love, we could stay like this for a while.

the streetlights flicker and the sunset blurs. but they know —
my heart has always been yours to break.

tell me love
tell me when to say yes

Life is not a dice
that you can roll
and blame it on fate.
don't you know
the outcome
is not a stroke of luck
or random at all
the moment its thrown
the forces of earth,
air and table
- take the reins,
dance together
and seal your Fate.

It was an exceedingly hot and sultry summer day in the bylanes of Kabul. Lt.Sameer Sharma had missed the chance of catching the prodigal engineer turned terrorist Abdul at the marketplace. But now he had an ace in his deck, the enigmatic Dr.Rizwan, a doctor by day and spy by night.

Here they were near a warehouse at a nondescript military base.Any second now,a glimpse of the adversary could be caught.

"Over there",shouted Rizwan, pointing his gun towards the massive box.As deftly as a cat ,Sameer slowly moved towards the box.It was a cat.

Another voice was heard in the floor above. It was Abdul.

He ran.

They ran.

It could all have been over in a minute.Years of espionage and intelligence work boiled downed to one chase.

They chased. A chance . The only chance.Four shots were fired.

They saw the corpse. They were jubilant."Finally" cried......

"Finally",cried Musa as he shared a smoke with Rizwan.

There laid the body of Lt.Sameer in a pool of blood.

Betrayal had never been more stylish.
