She was a symphony of sonorous phrases
Resonating off my blank walls
She clutched her vibrant set of words
Like crayons to colour in my lines

She made me beautiful with her poetic eloquence
She made me complete with her florid taste
She wrote me into her enigmatic songs
Which I mistook for love in haste

Slowly, her speech became psittacism
Her endearment became animosity
But her fallacious incantations transfixed my gaze
And I was caught in her blind idolatry

The poison in her insidious words
Tore through my skin and tissue
Overwhelmed my immunity
As she recited an amused eugloy
Words can be fatal.

"What is your talent? Can you show me?" He asked me, obliviously.

"My affinity isn't something that can be seen." I replied. "It isn't a fancy circus trick, like juggling, nor is it the astonishing spectacle of a painting. It isn't the beauty of a voice, or the magnificent sound of music to the ears. My ability is from the inside, from the way one simple sentence could turn your whole life around. It's the way words could understand you like nobody ever can, the way quotes or phrases fill the emptyness of your heart, and the way it awakens a sensation you may have never been able to feel before. So, no, I cannot show you what my talent is, as it is the way I can transfer a set of emotions to you with just the enunciation of a word."

And with that, I, yet again, rendered another soul speechless.

i’m sitting in class, listening to the conventions of everyday noises, straining my neck to get in touch with the balance within that vanishes so easily. the snow is melting in my hair; the subtle coldness calms me, making it easier for the fantasia to settle. the thought of him continues to rush through me, and the euphoria tastes wonderful. he rests comfortably upon the greyness of my tired soul, so close and yet so far, but i guess that’s the allure of everlasting lust.

Reached in and picked a winner
from your box of stock phrases.
Finding ways
to roll zero on 2d6.
You ******' missed
                        "**** the bed!"
I guess you're no Kenny Rogers.
Longer losing streaks familiar
to the wisdom of a betting man.

"Carpe Diem" on your calf,
laugh your way to the bank.
But put a stutter on your chuckle
'til the day they seize your wages.
If it "happens for a reason,"
fold your cards and hold your tongue in.
                           Hold your tongue and
                           clamp your teeth.

"What it is is what it is."
That's a "tautology."
They taught me that one in college,
when I took critical theory!
If you seek an explanation,
you're just critically faulting
                           on your dice rolls
                           and your debts.

Reached in and hit the bottom
of your box of stock phrases.
Finding ways
to keep afloat on empty words.
You ******' missed.
                           "Feeling blessed?"
Turns out you're no Kenny Rogers.
Longer losing streaks familiar

i've never been high before, not on pills, not on anything. but i only hope if i ever do get high, it'll feel half as it feels when talking to you, although i know it won't amount to even that.

define intensity and the closest you can get to understanding the word is the closest you can get to knowing a quarter of how ecstatic you can make me feel.

you're my reason. my only one. my don't look back, but keep moving forward. and my hope.

do you ever feel like you've lived your life in reverse? maybe it was more of uncronologically set up than anything else. i know this because everything fell into place only when you came around.

i've read there's a limit to loving someone. you makes me doubt this theory. for you, love exceeds all limitations, breaks all boundaries, defies all the "do not go there".

you make me be.
you make me exist.
you make me not want to stop existing if you're existing with me.

writing about you is most challenging, because you are not something i can put into words, but i'll spend my time trying. showing the world a proof of a wondrous being, showing the world just how beautiful you are, and most importantly, showing you.

je t'aime, lch liebe dich, ti amo, táim i ngrá leat. i'll learn to say i love you in every language there is, maybe then a part of you will start to believe it.

you're like one's favorite song except you're a song i'd never get bored of. everytime you talk it feels like i'm falling in love all over again and i don't want to stop. i don't want to stop drowning in the whole of you, because with you drowning doesn't feel like i'm at loss of breath, more like i'm born again.

i want all of you, i'll love all of it. i promise i will. i always will.

My words half-formed in my mouth,
a subtle taste of what is on the paper.
Gliding across the thin black lines is my pen,
creating words and phrases I have yet to say.
