One drunken night,
We confessed our love,
Under the skylight,
Like it's all we have.

The moon was there,
Our only source of light.
The witness of our love,
Is one majestic satellite.

Dazzling were your eyes,
Amidst the darkness of night.
Let's stay here for a while,
For "we"  just feels so right.
After writing this piece a storyline suddenly popped into mind and I'm contemplating if I should do it because I'm bad at writing filler scenes or casual conversations uwu.  A penny for your thoughts?

I used to think I was a sunset lover,
Constantly chasing a beautiful end
That my heart couldn’t trust another
And I’d always have to pretend

I used to think that love was like fire
And I, a moth bound to it’s flame
But true love goes beyond burning desire
Settling into embers that refuse to wane

I no longer dread for dusk to fall
Or yearn for the sun to stay
I search for solace in the darkness
Until the stars come out to play

By now I’d usually be sleeping,
Dreaming of another day
Instead the moon finds me weeping
And asks if all is okay

I tell her of the spark in your eyes
How your touch would make me melt
How I believed I’d found my twin flame
And how intensely alive I once felt

But you can’t fight fire with fire
And I know this because I’ve tried
It’s not worth the bridges burnt
Or all the scars we try to hide

She listens quietly, glowing with empathy
And for a moment I think it might rain
But then she whispers to me softly;
Tomorrow you will begin again.

When I am over the moon
feels of a mo reaching for the stars.
The very moment I feel it the most
my toes are dipped in the dust.
The moon forgets the power she holds with or without the sun.

The storms she brings with the tides always in her favor.

Shifting and going as she fades into her many faces.

The power she lends to every miserable woman.

Trying to start a new, Learning their worth.

She keeps forgetting that she doesn't need the sun to shine.

That she is all that she needs to become divine.

She always forgets.

Moonlight,
Set me free
I beg of you,
Hear my plea
Take this darkness
Away from me
Give me a brand new
Epiphany
So Mote It Be

Well
A full moon
In the dark night
Stayed around the fire

Did nothing
Thought nothing
Warmed
Her winter's blue
Uplifting her spirit
Hide and seek

Gone too far
As if
No one realizes

I often lock my eyes
On the sight of the sky
And I stare into the night
Under the glow of moonlight

Through this looking glass
I could see
An entire world out there
Looking back at me
Mon Amour

When a man whispers
"His feet hurt, and his shoes
are too small and
he's forgotten how to dance."
He prays noone else
understands his dilema,
nor what this means but I do.
No moon rises betwéen his
lowly stinky creepy
femfatales shoe-less other.
My moon spins way up higher
in orbit serving mystic functions
and our moon glares
in each others eyes
as our breathing sighs in love.
True love is our vine that
reigns in us as gravity rules on Earth.
With trips to nowhere and back
In love and without presence
I remain lost and found
a restless Angel.
