There’s nothing so soft makes me cower
As the ticking of a midnight clock
In this still and quiet hour

I sit, enveloped in the thickest dark
Comfortable and all alone
Upon my mind this echo leaves its mark

I’m free to contemplate without the noise
Of day’s loud vibrant life
I'm left to think of choice

Were it for this soft sound to leave my ear
Then I'd face true solitude
Not sure if that would a bane, or dear

Oh! For true silence, yet I daren’t mock
The quiet ticking of a midnight clock
Staying up much too late, as usual.
Maryann I Mar 24
When the clock strikes 12, the world exhales,
And silence spills through shadowed trails.
A hush falls soft on rooftops steep,
While stars begin their solemn sweep.

The moon slips on her silver veil,
A whisper carried by the gale.
Curtains dance to unseen hands,
As midnight casts its quiet demands.

Time bends in that fleeting chime,
A bridge between the day and time
Where secrets stir and spirits wake,
And dreams slip through the cracks they make.

Old wishes echo in the air,
Unspoken hopes, half-spun despair.
A fox tiptoes through garden dew,
The world turns dark, then strangely new.

Lovers kiss in borrowed light,
Owls take flight into the night.
The clock ticks on, a lullaby,
For those who ache, for those who cry.

When the clock strikes 12, beware—
Magic hums through midnight air.
And if you listen close, you’ll hear
The heartbeats of another sphere.

Candle by candle
Sigh upon sigh
Spring midnight love

White lillies of clouds
Within midnight sky
Heavenly moon illuminates them

Light upon the light
High atop the high
Let the lucky brow
Paradise shines
May your most beautiful eyes
Cast a glance!

Let it light up
A candle in front of the mirror.
Ah, wild glimpses—
Ultimately nuanced,
An enduring treasure,
Eternity in shadow,
Gently showing up.

Dear, the buzz is all in bloom.
Without one, nothing is whole.
The sun scrolls down in sizzling gold,
Never derailing, never sliding back,
Looping into the shrouded night.
The color is half full, half light,
Hues reflecting a zillion stars.

Time moves in discovery,
Ever burning the midnight oil—
The humble moon,
Lingering beneath your midnight-black locks.
The color, the fire—will it be the first to spot
Your veiled face, the true morning rose?
WHY ARE YOU FEELING BLUE?
What's with you?
You seem really sad!!
I'm not sure what to do?
I don't have a clue!!
I don't know, let's see!!
I'll just let you be!!
🫐 BLUEBERRY BLUE🫐,
A color so true,
Don't feel SO BLUE,

Cool gaze
With Sultry stardust
and shimmers
Blushes its irises and roses
You must not only sweetly love me
You shall deeply adore me
Through the midnights
To the sunflowers
Of the morning light

Reynaldo Casison
Her sweet beauty once kissed me
With the sighs of candles,
Her exquisite rhythms once caressed me,
With the groove of vineyards
Her rainbows of melodies
Once mesmerized me,
With the accents of moonlit waves
And irises
Her honey love once soothed me
Like evening waterfalls
Her exotic romance once moved me
To sweet tears like fireflies waltz
In the Summer evenings
Her midnight rain once
nourished me like roses and sunflowers

And once has become always
And once has become always

Reynaldo Casison
The candles sighs warm sanctuaries
Within the cool vineyards
Of romantic souls
Maple trees bless with their honey
Outspread to the candelbras
of midnights
Gypsy ballerina clouds drift
With velvet dreams in the rose moonlight
We glisten with the love rhythms
Of evening lakes irises and lotuses
Our own love is all that we need
More than even fur and tweed
And our love is entwined
With the romance
And pleasures of moonlight
Within the grooves
And
candlebras of midnights

Reynaldo Casison
A deep sweet Midnight
We let ourselves with our love
Be Fine wine
