I've dropped Tinder and Bumble,
They're no use,
They are not you,
And never will be.
I've taken to dating our feed,
The moments when I felt most alive,
Visible, desired, wanted, loved,
Drawn by a magnetic force beyond time.

I've tried to stop, but I can't resist,
You swirl back stronger and deeper,
Determined to keep me and the love you recognize.
You're the only one who makes me feel this way,
You're the only one who knows how to stay.

We're riding bikes on this trip known as life

In midnight hours

Facing wind with a hefty amount of risk mixed with intoxication adorning my head with an imaginary crown in place of where nonexistent helmet should be

Drunk not on alcohol
Instead from the countless tears formed by self-hatred
Soul-boiling
Hot liquid bubbling over edges of my eyelids

I hope we find our way
We travel without light guiding our direction
Two insignificant nomads blindly navigating this vast existential void
Attempting to reach sort of adequate destination before time reaches us
Held together by fingers and an invisible magnetism more powerful than the unknown forces pulling and prodding around us at all angles
And led forward by our hearts
I miss my partner in crime

Welcome to Misadventure, you're drawn to it in some berserk way, maybe due to it's atomic habits or technological urges,

sometimes there are cool, but irrational gun-totting robots who speak in foam, their presence detected by iron filings or teeth fillings or both or neither,

I just know there are tire tracks on your wife's new dress, the smell of gasoline coming from the guest bedroom, and a half-eaten Stouffers lasagna rotating on the record turntable,

and here a replicated version of your wife dances to the Italian Song, her ******* like lodestones, upturned and pressed together,

drawing you to them in some berserk way,
and they give such life and merriment to your brain's parcel of needles, that they prance and sway as if the devil were in them.
An absolutely drug-free inspired/written poem...Lol!

There is something mesmerizing when I look into your eyes
It draws me in deeper, before I realize.

It’s as if your body is calling to me, giving me butterflies.
The soft nature of your touch just has me hypnotized.

You see, I know it’s more to you then what’s between your thighs. Your physique is nice, but your heart is the true prize.

I wish to cling to your existence

Because your magnetism is so beautifully chaotic.

You have a certain magnetism
I can't define it
I see your north and it's pointing
at my direction

I have never been this close to
falling in and out of love
within days
my heart is a stranger

I write songs to lull me to sleep
I envy the words that keep me sane
Hearing your heart beating to my voice
was all I wanted
not until yesterday

I have never been this close to you
not until yesterday you are all I want
I have never been this close to
falling in and out of love
within days

my heart is a stranger
my head is in a daze
it's raining while you're away
it's raining every day

despite it all
we effortlessly end up
drawn together again
your soul pulling me in
my bones still remembering
how your touch felt
on those velvet nights
you light up my existence
and swim beneath my skin
my blood is yours.
