Dusting off the dirt
from my shoes well worn.

They've travelled far
and had tasted all manners
of earth.

Soles now parched,
and leather all beaten.

Eyes laced close,
scuffs and tears
crying for a mend.

Tongue lolled limp,
dislocated and misplaced.

These shoes,
they beg for a life
much different.

But these feet
knows and wants
the only ones
that fit.

Old Memories are nestled safe in the Womb of our Heritage
Growing Roots in their Nurturing vessel
Until their Birth wherein they are forgotten.
They take their Vacation in our younger children, Brothers, Sisters
Who we have Provided the Memories of our long ago Childhood
Of the Toys, the Rivalries, the Responsibilities, the doting boys, and playground cliques
Their Adorable, albeit Tiny distracted heads may forget the days of our lives, but the passion they heard in our voices will never leave them.
Just as my mothers never left mine
Tell your stories. Tell them quick, before your memories are born from you and are forgotten from this world
They are irreplaceable, precious times that no one else can ever experience themselves and they must live on as precious stories.
Kept forever within the family walls of love and care
This poem came from a prompt which told me to use a list of words to write a poem. For the most part these words are capitalized.

You protect me like an umbrella
in rainy days,
You make me feel warm like sweater that i always wear in cold days,
You are like a rainbow that i always wanted to see after the bad rain,
Your shoulder is the best place for my head to lean on,
Every places that i have been visited always feel empty without you,
And home is not the same anymore.

Mom, you gave colors to my life since the beginning.
Without you here, my days just a black and white and pale.

Mother, thank you for always put my need first.
You are my hero and my queen,
I love you mom, and i always do.

When I miss you,
Its to the point of tears
I imagine you,
Just around the corner
I visualize you,
You're coming my way
But it still hurts
...After I self-regulate.

"In order to be irreplaceable,
One must be different"
-Coco Chanel

We may all feel the hunger to fit in
But why would you want to fit in, When you can be unique?

The courage to be yourself in a world full of sheep- in itself- is beautiful
And frankly, the only person you should try to impress, is yourself
At the end of the day who's always there for you?
That's right!
It's you!
Do you want those you love, those you spend the most time with, to remember you when you're gone?
To smile and laugh when they think about you?
Then, be unique
Remove the chains you've wrapped around your neck in order to be "normal"
Spread your wings and let this world see you
Some may be flooded by your boldness
They may become venomous, because they're too afraid to do it themselves
Do not give them the power to dampen your spirit
Hold your head high
Be proud in who you are
Because the rest of us, those who have freed ourselves?
We're waiting for you
And we want to wrap you in a blanket of warmth and kindness
When you're ready,
Come find us

We may all have the hunger to fit in
But why should we want to fit in,
When we can be unique?

You know
It's you I want.
The only one
I ever want.
I yearn for you.
I crave for you.
A hunger that
Is insatiable.
A passion that
burns hotter
than fire.
*I have you
In my life.
I dont know what this was supposed to be...love poem?

It will be okay
You'll have another one some day
It seems that's all they have to say
Like you can be replaced

But, I will never forget the day
I learned that you were on your way
Tears of joy streamed down my face
Everything fell into place

I dreamed of all you'd grow to be
beautiful and sweet
I couldn't wait to kiss your adorable face
And tickle your little feet

Your daddy was so proud
And just as happy when he found out
He was so excited to be your father
We'll always love you without a doubt

We are so sad to be without you
But In our hearts you'll always stay
You will never be forgotten
And we will meet again one day.

I Promise♡
This one is very personal to me. My husband and I tried for 7 months for a baby. Finally I conceived and everything was so great. All my blood work and everything was coming back perfect so the doctor felt no need for an early ultrasound. We went in to finally see our baby at 10 weeks only to find out there was no heartbeat and the baby had passed about 3 weeks before. I felt so much more than just the pain of having miscarried my sweet baby, that I wanted more than anything, I felt betrayed by my body for letting it progress so long after my baby died, leaving me to build false hope that everything was okay. This was my way of releasing some of that hurt and finding closure.

Every word you say is precious dear,
Unfortunately, we can't be together, we're not even peers,
Like a balloon, you bring my heart up high,
You bring it up, up, up into the sky,
Not a single imperfection could replace you,
N**ot a single angel could see you through.
The beginning is a hint to bring you to the end.
His name is the aftertaste
Of slowly sipped red wine
Trying to forget the feeling
Of being in love and vulnerable
Knowing your heart
Could shatter into a thousand pieces
At the mercy of a few words

His touch is old love renewed
Soft and dangerous
The kind of thrill that makes you nostalgic
A thousand heartbreaks
Dug up and re-brewed

His lips taste as bitter as old love
And as sweet as the memories
That with it came along
And gently they kiss you
like the way he’d hold fragile glass
Determined to not press too firmly
Causing you to shatter in his grasp

He’s the impossible kind of love
That never forgets you
no matter how long
or far
or stubborn
or dumb

He’s the kind of drunk
That’s hangs over the next morning
And pounds at your head
With memories of relentless love
Hoping you’ll find him in your bed
