At night I find myself in dreams of indigo.
In the background are soft subtle hymns.
I walk slowly among the field of blue as the winds blow.
The iridescent moon shivers and shines.
Giving the lovely flowers their beautiful glow.

The birds, they fly over clouds so serene.
The fireflies dance their dances over top the iridescent fields.
I'm left standing In awe at this beautiful scene.
as I begin to wake, and the night begins to yield.
I found myself thinking, obsessing, over my indigo dreams.
My Dear Poet Jan 2024
side by side

           we sit

as far as the east is from the northern sky

we dodge eyes between the distance

          and us

the faded voices climbing hills

turn into the silhouettes of hope

and the holy laughter

of dying

       children
I can’t believe we take sides, on either side of death
Allow
me to
fly
far in
your
arms
as the
leaves
in the
wind,
I soar
in the
tides
of the
sky,
I am
lost in
the
skies
above,
my soles
touch the
clouds,
the gaze
of my soul
has seen
and known
each thing
as you,
deep is
its song
in colors
of stars,
indigo
and
art,
I touch
the white
fields,
and,
there
you are,
the breath
of your
embrace
opens,
I am lost,
the roses
in your
eyes hold
me close,
understand how you
take my
heart
as your
silent
whisper
and call,
“stargirl,
awaken
in the
chests
of those
who had
never
known
of their
light”
I ask,
“how
can they
not know
of it”, to
which you
answered,
“the
broken
souls,
they seek
and know
not of how
it was
always
there”
your
words
became
my wings
opening, to the
darkness,
I cry,
“surrender!”
and all
became
love,
the only
home.

Call for the aid of divinity,
Call upon the strength of my mother's chains,
Call to the resonance felt within my soul,
When my brother would whistle a tune of transcendence just outside my window.

Employ the courage of my calluses,
They were formed in the darkest of nights,
Ask for an ally in my altered form,
She's had to do this before, many times, never been a stranger to Indigo.
They had once been here
before, beyond the light years
that are still in the calm silence
of the dreamscape where came the
oceans of hearts are fracturing the
fabric of the universe, to create
and see none other than
each other in the hour
of the night realm, others
are passing by are silhouettes
in time and ghosts painted
in their dream of tidal eyes
upon each other, wave on wave,
skin on skin,  their breath vanishing into
the quiet voices of blue flowers in soft
bloom, tears from the stars cascade on the
lovers with their hands in gentle
embrace and rising to the sky as the light
of fireflies return as starseeds
of many, twinkling amidst the
the lovers, whom are adrift in
everything,
everything.
(Little note: I was inspired by the title of Nicola Yoon's book
for my title, it is a book I dearly love.)
The depths and the hold of the midnight hues of dusk
flowing into the surface of the water.
The sunken truth that lies in that shallow vastness
washes up on the shore, a trail of lingering darkness
found in the waters.

And so help me as I cannot help but become consumed
by the calling waves,
It whispers to me, it feels familiar
like home.

There is only a grim satisfaction that remains on my face
as I sink into the abyssal trap,
surrounded by all the unearthly treasures
I can only hold so much of.

And there it was, in that shallow looking emptiness
the indigo that threatened to take hold.
I was consumed by the sapphire
that corrupted my lungs.

I reach out to the surface
fading from my view
but only shades of cerulean escaped my mouth,
with no hope but only the suffocating feeling

of the deep blues.

Remembered that time I was floating in the ocean and a small earthquake happened.

Grammy is an Empath, clairsentient old soul
Mommy is an Indigo, not sure if she knows
I was born a Rainbow Bear to make the planet whole
Together we will change the world, at least that is our goal
Grammy plays with honeybees, loves entomology
Mommy is a healer, she gets it naturally
I'm completely fearless, we all are HSP
At least we’re slightly different, on that we can agree
Grammy hears the trees speak, scream when they are down
Mommy sees the unborn babes by using ultrasound
I sensate most creatures before they come around
We hope to stir you deeply so offer this background
I’ll share my involution with you every now and then
Speak with you of changes by taking up a pen
Together we bee wise ones who work for truth again
The world will be lighter, though I can not tell you when...
