from japan

within an hour
i tried to be him

a million times

couldn't stay strong
did a lot of **** wrong

the difference between a
family and me?

a family is ******* energy
me i am ******* the life
out of everybody
Today is a burned day.

I am magnetic, and I am alive
I attract what I need in order to thrive
My mind is a magnet - an incredible power
And creates my desires hour by hour

My focus is sharp, strong as fine steel
I know my emotions, what I want to feel
My end result I can clearly see
Which is drawn magnetically right to me

If you planned to reach top of the tower
Then you must appreciate  the hour
It's the way to gain the power
And defeat the failures you discover
With it, you will learn to recover
And obtain the information you like to devour
With it, you will learn not to live like a flower
Flourishes in a season and dies in another
With it, you will be the one with manner
"Study more, Achieve more" is your banner

With it, goals will be easy to require
And achievements will never expire
You will be a flame of fire
That lightens the darkest empire
With pure heart, with pure desire
You will be the one who never retires
Your life will be a story that inspires
And for hopeless people it will be a dreams amplifier

Now that I've got your attention
Get up and sale to another dimension
Start thinking of an invention
Or a cure that stops infection
Travel to the unknown and study new vegetation
Urge others with your writing and sensation
And never hesitate to give a supposition

So always aim to the top
Never hang your dreams with a rope
And never let down your hope
Because rare things never found in a shop
You are not coming home
You're only visiting mine
The path I've carved to the bone
With my blood and sweat
When you left me behind

We're expecting connections
From two dead cells
Yet there's not a flickering light
No prospective spark to find

I want the best of both worlds
Knowing I've driven you away
While coping with the anger and confusion That leads me astray

I don't need restitution.
I don't seek retribution.
Here I see no resolution.
Let there be no delusion.

Perhaps there's a part of me
That will always care
About what you think or how you feel
But honestly it's hard for me to be real
When the wounds never mutually heal

My heart is repealed
Until your story's revealed
Maybe when Hell freezes over
Or pigs grow wings and fly
Suffice to say

I've grown older
Fulfilled in my own ways
Chasing epiphanies and revolutions
I've become colder
Concealed in my own space
Now I've found the ideal solution

Simply (smile)
Give you an illusion

Up
At five,
Rummaging
For matching socks;
I meet my train, asymmetrically dressed.

‘Improbable as it may be, the day still has a few indignities left.’

Each day is broken
At the zero hour,
Splintering like a derelict,
On the craggy shoreline of the morn;

Flotsam abandoned,
To the oceans of yesterday,
The beach combed for treasure,
To keep for tomorrow.

When you find yourself googling ‘marine+law+salvage’ it’s time to stop poeming for the day. Have obviously been watching too much Poldark!

‘Every day we reconstruct our lives out of the salvage of our yesterdays.’
- James Sallis, Death Will Have Your Eyes

There is a tipping point
to define
measure
when all the little moments
weigh more than they should
the long hours, their shadows
begrudge each step
exhale to monsters among us

thoughts are living
like you or me
