if you are always right

why did you even ask?
if you already know the answers and are just looking for an argument - please, don’t.
Poetic T Dec 2019
We are only as
                  wise as our

last mistake.

            For without hiccups,
                 we never realise
that we can also be wrong.

   "Yes you may be hungry,
                      but eating to fast

                 has its consequences..

Learn well, chew well
              and remember that
             with every error...
                          we can climb

one more step.

And realise that,
we may trip over our ego
and tumble,
but once we learnt from it.

We know to take our time.

he didn't look back
not even once,
did he even love me
or that his ego
was more important
than me?

am, I not allowed, to bow before thee
without tongue wagging to please
and lips puckered perfectly derrier

...is a purple curtain

behind this curtain
is your flesh

behind your flesh
is your ego

behind your ego is the real you
we've been on a journey
like grandpa and grandmom
take me away
take me to the place of the real you
why do we always desire what we don't have?
why do we want to be somebody else?

'I', it baffles me this 'I'
I question 'I'
Am 'I' the question?
I witness 'I'
Am I the witness?

'I' is insatiable
On all fours
'I' is the caterpillar
In this metaphor

If I transform
Or if 'I' dies
Am 'I' still I?
Is the caterpillar also a butterfly?

'I' wish to transition
but to accomplish this mission
'I' must die
there is no I in butterfly

I left you.
You didn’t love me
You loved that I made you
look like a big man

ego
little, little ego,
choking in the throat
biger, biger, biger,
little ego growed,
there's not enough
of breathing,
there's not enough
of everything,
the sun not sun,
the moon too cool,
Earth too *****,
the city too big or too small,
the dress not fit at all,
the lipstick it's too heavy on my lips,
dark smoke in my throat,
the metal ston onto my heart,
I feel each beat,
pulsation in my head

I don't always mean
These words I say
Nor these things I recklessly do
In the pitch dark of night
I suddenly awake
And frantically reach for you
Somehow you're still here
Then I realize my greatest fear
To be alone in this broken world
A single man without a girl
So I must admit
I need your love
Even though
I abhorred the crutch
Nothing is as it's suppose to be
Thank  god
For cursing me!
