A morning glory
Blooms inside
The stormy sea
In her eyes
How you long to be alone
With her gypsy soul
Her fierce love
The fire glows
Passionate nights
Her true devotion
Many fearless heights
Depths deeper than the ocean
Take her hand
Always go
But only with her heart in tow

circumference
area
radius
locate where i end
and you begin

protons
and neutrons
inside this atomic nucleus
our energy levels
hover in the clouds

how can't we fall
for the rotation
of this sphere

this densely
structured wonder
of our assembled love

I rise above and look
At the journey of my life

You were always there
You pushed me
Prodded me
Guided me
Helped me
Nudged me
Carried me
Always and forever
In your arms
From within me

I kept gazing
And still do
Out in the world
Looking for you
Wandering in Temples
Rushing to Masters
Crying, praying, longing

You smile
In my heart
The journey is complete
You and me
Here and now
I love You, my Lord and Master
Eternal Friend and savior
Thank You!

I was thinking about your
breath before you brush your teeth,
I love it.
It reminds me of simple, beautiful things,
like, streams flowing gently over
moss-covered rocks, and puppies at
about three weeks old, right before
they open their eyes, the way they
wiggle around with their ears pasted
to their heads, blind to the world.
Soft plump bellies full of
Mother's milk.  But I think most
of all, it reminds me of home,
a home with love and laughter,
and books and plants.
Classical music and sunlight-bending
through half-open windows.
It warms hearts and hands and
hours and days, that slip
away far too soon.
It reminds me of feathers and flight,
and babies--clocks ticking, pages turning,
and life--hard, fast, short, beautiful life.
I wrote this about my girlfriend's breath first thing in the morning.

A promise is a promise.
Only a lie can be made
with an expiration date in mind.

You and I
are the sand and sea,
we will always keep coming
back to one other.

You and I
are the trees of eternal spring,
we shall never leave.

Not every day is remembered
as special or significant,
not every word spoken between us
is Hallmark worthy.
But love is never absent
and what is shared
never forgotten.

Alone we are
merely ordinary,
together we are considerable,
whether it’s sharing ice cream
or each other’s
aches and pains.

The road we traverse,
hand-in-hand,
may be covered with obstacles & illusions,
but the horizon
is hardly false.

For look!
God himself smiles upon us.
These vows are indeed
of an endless variety...

I here music in
my head when I
look into her
eyes.
It's like a
soundtrack to love.
A cross between
Van Morrison and
a Gregorian chant.
When I touch her wet
cotton candy lips,
I here the
oceans and lions roar.
The waves crash to
shore in my heart,
and I listen to the
mermaids song.
And in the end,
her footsteps,
and her heart beat,
and her apple blossom voice
are forever my
soundtrack to love.
Every love needs a soundtrack.

Here

I will be with you through blood sweat and tears.
I will stick to you like note paper for years and years.
When you need someone to listen to, I will be all ears.
When the end comes and I fade away,
I will never truly leave your side; I will never disappear.

In her deadly
blue eyes, I fall down the
rabbit hole.
Down
down
down I go.
I hit the
earth like a
mock turtle on its
back;
with a smack;
like a shot to the vein.
She travels through my
bloodstream with the
force of a mad tea party.
Her hair is dormouse soft.
I touch it, and feed
her tarts, as she
rides me like
a guillotine;
sharp and final,
with a purpose;
like a porpoise with a
fish hook in
its mouth.
I hold on tight
and never let go.

I want you to cut me.
I want you to see that the blood that is red with you becomes water.

I want to be opened by you. I want to be drunk by you.
Put your lips to my open wrist.
There I become ambrosia to your beautiful, godless hunger.
There I offer you what you have given me and did not know it.

With you I am the scent of blood after rainfall.
With you I am God's Lamb put on earth to be devoured.
With you. With you I am made like all holy things.

So cut me please, because I must show you.
