Fine and light it poured
On and on and on
While I waited or not
Maybe I was hiding
Hoping it would stop
So in peace I could walk
But on and on and on
It fell and kept on falling

Didn't want to get wet
I thought I was good at risk management
But time had no patience
Flew away left me here
Now the clouds have burst
On and on it pours
Like a dam that's been suffering for long
I've played my cards wrong

Home is where I'm supposed to be
Having a cup of hot tea
But I'm stuck like meat or green
Lodged between the teeth
Far from home
Can't hit the road
Lost in my thoughts already catching cold
I guess I'll have to go even if it means I'll be soaked
Walking home in the rain cursing myself, so wet

You’re a hole in the ground
When I’m looking for a break in the clouds
An old phone number resurfaced in my life today. And though I was very flattered, I was also very aware of why I wasn't very talkative back then. It just wasn't what I wanted and then some. Sorry.

When you're homesick,
you should go outside and close your eyes.
Then look up into the night,
see all the clouds in the same blue sky.

*It feels like home doesn't it?
It did, even for just a second.

Clouds are the same everywhere.

A dissembled unicorn
a giant with lilliput in hand
a dinosaur with a diffused tail
a bunny in mid-leap
a curl of puffy ring
algae or could be an amoeba
and a cast of the haunting dark cloud
as it rumbled with a violet pitchfork
the illusion tumbled down
into splattering rain
on glass
we watch as patterns escaped.

You changed the color of my skies
From the darkest blue
To the light blue color of my eyes

I could finally see,
I knew who I wanted to be
You let the sunlight in,

I felt forgiven for my sins
Until you were ripped from my grasp
Then the clouds rolled back in

In my old rusty car!
Driving along the beach!
Thinking about the life of our!
Put your head out and reach!
Taste the salty water!
Sun burning hotter!
It makes your skin glow!
Everything is moving slow!
Warm breezes starts to blow!
Sand mixed in air like it's snow!
I was so lost in your perfect face!
Crashed around the curve at high pace!

Another day
My head is hidden in the clouds and my feet are far above the ground
I can pretend I’m safe in an ocean of blue as long as I don’t look down

Deep inside I know I’m drowning
But I left all hope of help somewhere in the speckled lights of the city below
Or is it above?
I’ve lost all sense of direction
My internal compass spins in frantic meaningless circles

I’m paralyzed and I feel it getting harder to breathe
But if I shut my eyes I don’t have to watch the light vanish into thin air

My thoughts are confused
Past and future blur and fade like photographs from another time
Memories and dreams dissolving behind my closed eyes
Until only the present remains

My energy and motivation wax and wane like the moon floating somewhere above my head
I’m tired
But somewhere inside me I find the strength to swim upwards
Towards the sun shining in the lights of the city below

I think I found you between the clouds and underneath the stars.
I thought I found out how rainbows formed in the sky and how the stars shine at night.
I found value in your smile, white pearls with the tax of an arrow through my heart.
The payment was falling back to earth along with this memory of you.
I thought you were joking and you'd never let me slip.
I woke up back again in a place I didn't miss.
I thought I fell for an angel up in the sky,
But then again I have really sore eyes.

Head of a silver spoon hanging in the sky
Reaching down into the midnight cloud bowl
Scooping up spiced stars scattered in a soup
