I don’t belong here

The fate of man is to fall into the dirt;
For what we are worth.
I heard it first that we are all creatures of God's Earth,
But he/she has never been seen on a television screen
And all the hope has been taken away from all my dreams.

All I had, I have lost along the way.
No words left to say,
To comfort me each and every day I live in pain.
All along I knew they were wrong,
So I never believed in or sang their worship songs,
Of days that passed away a long time ago.
All they left me with is endless sorrow.

Her being radiates faith,
and behind her eyes lay confidence.
Sometimes I envy her belief,
I resent that she has a home to go,
while I stand to freeze alone.
I'll praise her strength,
for it's something I'll never have.
Maybe sometimes I wish I could believe,
but I am the way I am, like a blind man,
I can't suddenly decide to see.

I believe in the power of determination,
To overcome anything with little frustration,
Then the amazing feeling of succession brings elation,
Continuing confidence with progressive confirmation,
Although the glory might seem hard to perceive,
Whatever it is, it's easy to achieve,
With the right mentality,
This I believe.

if god is good thoughts
and satan is evil thoughts
and along with experience
we use reason and logic
to decide what is good and evil
how is anyone going
to
have
the same reason for believing
something? that's not
free (life)
will,
that's brainwash!

Man will suffer in belief
and drown in truths ill conceived.
Aspersions fills the air you breath,
cutting deep you twist and wreathe.

These jagged words arm the blind
fear sharpens, fear lies.
In the end, man will find
fear's the end of all mankind.

yes, that day hasn't even passed yet.

but things will be better by then.

if it appears that
my poems lack conviction,
it's because they do.

my words: white noise on
a radio brain, and i
can't change the station.
Faith is what holds broken shards together.
Pieces left over of something shattered.
Faith sweeps them, delicate like a feather,
From the mess into which they’ve been scattered.

Faith takes the brokenness and makes it whole.
Jagged pieces must be handled with care.
Faith softens them with power to console.
They will rebuild with belief they’re all there.

Faith is the power to compel healing.
It is the life force of recovery.
Faith is glue between cracks that need sealing.
Knowing the broken will heal is the key.

Faith broken hopes come back stronger redeems,
Like a mirror whose scratches disappear.
Faith sculpts new life out of broken down dreams,
As if out of sand new glass could appear.

Faith takes the chaos of a broken soul,
Faith resurrects it if given control.

Although I thought that I was well
Something was missing, I could tell
An emptiness nothing could quell
When at last on my knees I fell

Though the world has torn me apart
Lord, you calmed my disquiet heart
God, Your love has set me apart
My King, you were there from the start

Here I am Lord, praying, praising
Though my feeble heart is aching
Lord, Your love is ever growing
God, Your grace is always flowing
