Today the sun fires out from further away
with a strained burn traveling
through a moist sky
Arriving with enough energy to
play with the trees

Light rides along the ripples of a lazy river as
Koi float between the reflections of the
branches above to

cruise with the clouds.

Late afternoon shadows grow silent as a
savage chill slowly devours the remains of the
dry summers stubborn heat.

Organic designs rust over in a brilliant decline.
The scent of a rising storm rushes into
a deep breath on a harsh breeze that

rustles the rain toasted leaves of autumn.

Is any more caressing
than the blissful feel
of an August wind

Howling with its might
sending cold shivers
to trees, plants, and beings

Is any more soothing
than the gentle touch
of an August rain

Fuzzy little drops
erasing the thoughts
of yesterdays pain

Is any more saddening
than the worry-ful thoughts
of August last days

The trees reclining
As the breeze declines

and such brings forth
an earnest yearning
to see August once again.
Where i'm from, there are 2 weather seasons in a year, the rainy and dry seasons.

When i was younger, there's a period i looked forward to each year during the rainy seasons(April - September) called "AUGUST BREAK", it's a rainy seasonal break during the month of August, where the rain drops becomes lighter, the wind is stronger, the atmosphere more jovial, lots of kids playing around cause this period interferes with the holidays, and you feel nothing but glad to be alive.

It is in Septembers, Octobers, and Novembers
That Autumn dresses up,
Adorned in warm, golden tones of color,
And waltzes with her prince, The Fall Wind.
But when the clock strikes twelve,
Winter comes along with her December and January Winds,
Snatching up Autumn’s bright apparel
And clothing her in nothing but somber tatters.
Autumn keeps quiet, until the first rays
Of Spring’s long awaited sunshine
Touches the depths of Winter’s dark dungeon.
Autumn is showered with Spring’s rain,
And is coaxed into fashioning a new dress
With the same warm, golden tones of color,
But, this time, in a different pattern.
It is Summer’s sunshine, now, that assists Autumn,
With an occasional July thunderstorm to help form the new dress.
August passes by to give his opinion, and Autumn is finally ready.
For it is in Septembers, Octobers, and Novembers
That Autumn dresses up,
Adorned in warm, golden tones of color,
to waltz with her prince, The Fall Wind.

I just want to be held for the rest of my life
.
he came back
.
and I love him...more than friends...more than anything actually
.
downtown dates
.
off to Cali again
.
when my ears pop on a plane, which sounds are the real ones?
.
good morning to me
.
my baby, my baby, my baby...
.
75 and going through her rebellious stage
.
Amish dresses
.
I still can't believe that he's back
.
nearly 200 love songs
.
hot and dry, just how I like it
.
dramatic and beautiful, mustache and all
.
home again
.
this whole town is us
.
nobody finds a four leafed clover by searching for it
.
terrified
.
fridge magnets with no meaning give me stale grey flashbacks
.
and enter...fluorescent hell
.
