So early in the morning,
When the sun in my eyes begins to rise.
The dawn of the new day begins,
Though what comes next is still in disguise.
The truth for the answers we seek,
Appear in places we least expect.
Drawn to those unknown spots within the deep,
Lost forever to forget.

He's the man of my dreams
His eyes glitters seeing me
His pleasant words tickle my ears
His smile amazes my 18 year old self
His lips against my neck intoxicates my whole body

He's the man behind my poems
His eyes are lonely looking at me
His hurtful words stabbing my heart
His frown aches my bones
His last kiss brought tears and never ending rain of my life

He'll always be the my almost forever.

You have changed me.
For better or worse you have changed me.
From the person I was, the person I thought I would always be.
To the person I am now.
I'm better and so I thank you.
But I'm different and so I blame you.
But in the end I am thankful.
For I am a better person than I was before.

Embrace me in the rays
Of your dying warmth
Make me disappear
The sadness I've donned.

Take me away
Up in the sky with you
Make me kiss the sunlight
Let me taste it anew.

I can hear its voice,
It is pulsating, yet so soft.
I apprehend the message,
It calls out to me and You.

It will be hard, I know,
But I have to go through the passage,
And allow myself to be vulnerable,
To experience feelings anew.

It's funny how we met right after my heart shattered
It's like you knew me all along
And now you're here to save me
But I kept pushing you out
But why do you still keep coming back?

See, they say shattered mirrors yell out "bad omen!"
And I had stared till I no longer recognise my reflection
But you reminded me of sleepless nights and how the crows never called a name
Your heart does not sound like a broken glass to me

It rhymed with my beating heart
Though broken, it's still pumping
Notions of stigma streaming in that fervent river vein
The truth hits me when I stared long enough
I can never give what you've given me
But why do you keep coming back?

Your veins were rivers that would take us away
As these paper boats fall apart
I still see parts of myself in shards of you
We could share the same breath underwater

*So please, let me fix you.

The sunshine dabbles on my skin.

Pale with wistfulness. It somehow reminds me of bitten back lips and swallowed words. The sharp edges of each letter paper cut there and here.

I stay a little longer, motionless, in this hazy light.

I'll come back alive.
I will be living once more.
Just give me a pinch of time.
That will do.
Hey hey hey you brilliant soul! :')
How are you?

Who are you?
You came when I was in pieces
Shattered, but you pick it up
Piece by piece you fixed me
It's not complete, but I can finally breathe

Who are you?
Making me smile
Without me telling you
You knew I'm trying to forget him
But why are you still trying?

Who are you?
Despite shutting you out
You keep asking how my day was
Didn't I hurt you enough?
You must never see my flaws

Who are you?
Mr Stranger who are you?
I'm slowly getting up again
And I'm scared to fall again

But please Mr Stranger
Please, Please don't leave.
You came unexpectedly...
And now I don't want you to leave...
